The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1327 What's On Your Mind?

Chapter 1327 What's On Your Mind?

Rex felt a cold wind brushing against his body as soon as he thought of that.

He knew that the other high-rank Supernatural races would be actively hunting for the Order Beasts that are compatible with them to obtain these Order Stones. It was a new breath, and came with it was the new constitution of the world.

Before all of this, living beings were fighting over elemental stone mines to advance.

Now, those elemental stone mines were replaced by Order Beasts.

But fundamentally, it was all the same, a battle for resources.

In the Second Breath, the one—who managed to achieve the unachievable tenth-rank realm would be the winner—and Rex wasn't planning to lose in this race, "Currently, the races that were still unclear to me were a couple. Now, with the Werewolves out of the picture—I could move on to the Undead"

Glancing over to the inverted forest, Rex narrowed his gaze.

"Since the about-to-be Death Lord is here, the Undead might make a move," He added.

Rex felt his intuition warning him from the cold breeze earlier.

He knew that in this race, to the tenth-rank realm, not only would he need to dominate Order Beasts—but he would also need to sabotage the other races that might pose a threat to him, his pack, and his empire.

Currently, the Undead is at the top of his list.

"I also should keep an eye on Holy Order Beast for the Angels," He added, troubled.

Although he firmed that the number one threat was the Fifthborn, he doubted that there was a Chaos Order Beast, out there. But if it did exist he would, without a doubt, aim to subdue it, the Fourthborn couldn't be awakened at this moment.

Or at least, not until he managed to reach the tenth-rank realm.

Casting one last glance at the inverted forest, Rex leaped away, heading back.

It seemed like the other minion ran away when it sensed his presence.

Understandable as his aura flared a bit earlier when he saw Gistella's condition.

Reaching back to the others, Rex met with Queen Shanaela to inform her about the situation.

Other than the disappearance of the minion, Rex also commands her to thicken the security by putting more sentries around the inverted forest. He told her to report if something really did happen around the perimeter.

He warned her about the Undead.

"Also—I already informed the other kingdoms to search and locate the Order Beasts in their territory. I didn't know about the Order Stones, I did this so that we could gain a clearer and better picture of our combined territory"

"Good thinking, Queen Shanaela. I tasked you to map out the Order Beasts"

"As you wish, Your Majesty"

Nodding his head, Rex left the room and headed upstairs to check on the others.

Since he was only a clone here, there was no need for him to hurry back to Dargena City.

His main body was there and keeping tabs on the situation.

Reaching up at the supposed open place where Flunra and Gistella were resting, he saw the two of them sitting in meditation—basking under the moonlight. Rex didn't disturb them and went over to an empty spot to sit down and also meditate.

A couple of hours passed.

It was complete silence, the night was very good, and calming accompanied—only the sound of insects in the background. Each breath fueled Rex's body with a pleasant feeling but soon, he sensed that someone approached him.

He felt someone leaning against his shoulder.

Even without opening his eyes, he knew that it was Gistella.

She didn't say anything for a good minute before she eventually opened her mouth.

"What is Evelyn worried about?" She asked tenderly.

Upon hearing this, Rex remained silent.

He knew what she was hinting at and he would never say it.

It was bad enough that Evelyn knew and he didn't want more to know about this problem.

Additionally, he also didn't want to believe it.

He wanted to think that Qonvale might be wrong about this.

So despite her reluctance, Rex participated in the battle once again.

Despite the lingering fatigue from drawing the formation earlier—and also the training he did to strengthen his red force energy, Rex pushed himself as this was his mistake to begin with, he needed to take responsibility.

He decided to do what he couldn't do before in the Force Academy.

Swoosh!

Rex pierced the Humming Damned Forest below like a bullet.

His speed was so unbelievably fast that everything around him was in slow motion.

It was so fast that even the booming sound his speed made couldn't keep up with him.

Naturally, Rex used the Primordial Step skill—and was determined to make it to the fifth step to begin increasing his mastery over this skill. Currently, he was at his third step, and he was still due to take two more steps to reach his absolute peak speed.

Crack!

As soon as he made the fourth step, the ground shattered from the force of his step.

Immediately, Rex gazed up and counted the flying mutated animals with the System.

He calculated the arc he was going to make to take out as many as he could and act upon it.

Making one last step, Rex soared through the sky, swiping his claws ferociously.

Considering that anything other than him was moving at a slow pace—not even one mutated animal was able to react. Not as much as react, none of them could even perceive the attack because of how fast it was.

From the onlookers' perspective, the horde of flying mutated animals was coming.

"Fire! Cast every single spell you could do to buy Lady Adhara some time!"

City guards on the walls were already firing their spells at them.

Since Linthia and Dindora were on the other side of the walls, another one stepped up.

One has to step up as the flying mutated animals have gotten close to the walls.

But in the next instant, faster than even the blink of an eye, the mutated animals stopped.

Each one of them was suspended mid-air.

On the city guards' periphery, they saw the Emperor landing outside to their right.

Rex appeared like a ghost as if he blinked into existence.

All of the city guards rejoiced at the sight of their Emperor arriving but as Rex straightened his back—something incredible happened. Every single mutated animal that was closing in exploded into a mist of blood.

It happened suddenly and showered a rain of blood in the walls' direction.

Most of the city guards who were not expecting this got drenched in blood.

Some even got blood in their mouth because of that.

None of them saw what caused these mutated animals to explode, they just exploded.

Rex, on the other hand, was untouched by the red force barrier surrounding him.

His barrier deflected every droplet of blood.

Even then, he was breathing quite heavily from doing that for the first time.

"Man, it really saps my stamina from making all the five steps," He shook his head.

Nevertheless, he knew that this meant his body was being pushed to the limit.

"System, can you keep track of my progression?"

"Oh, how come I could progress the mastery this fast?"

"Good. Now all I need is to do the skill two to three more times"
