Chapter 72 Level 5 Mental Strength Talent
Chapter 72 Level 5 Mental Strength Talent
"I see. I never knew we Pros had such a way to improve ourselves."
Leo seemed to be deep in thought.
Leo vividly remembered that when he was hunting stonefish, his high spirits did indeed boost his mental energy faster.
However, Leo couldn't help but frown again.
Leo had assumed that the second mental talent test would directly assess the rate at which his mental energy was increasing.
But if it's a test of mental traits, he might not be able to detect them.
Fried suddenly stood up and said, "Leo, I'm going to the bathroom. If you remind me to go for the test later, give my Tiger Skull a punch, and I'll be right back."
Fried cast a spell.
A gigantic animal skeleton appeared out of thin air, with four legs on the ground.
A skeleton suddenly appearing out of nowhere would easily scare a normal person.
However, Leo was brave; although surprised, he was not frightened.
He asked curiously, "Fried, what kind of magic is that?"
"The necromancer's spell."
Fried chuckled and said, "Leo, you're surprised, aren't you? My subject is a bit niche; you can't find many like me in the entire Tower of Dawn."
Leo asked curiously, "Fried, did you 'dig out' all those skeletons from piles of corpses?"
Upon hearing this, Fried nodded and said, "That's right. Our necromancer spells usually require a medium, which is a corpse."
Then, Fried said solemnly, "However, according to the regulations of the Tower of Dawn, we generally do not use human corpses as objects of necromancy. Instead, we use the corpses of demonic creatures after their death."
Leo looked at the tiger's skeleton and asked, "Is this an ordinary animal or a demonic creature?"
"A demonic creature."
Leo nodded slightly; he could indeed sense a faint magical pressure emanating from the animal.
Although the demonic pressure was faint, upon closer inspection, it was found to be stronger than that of the stone fish.
However, considering that his current punching power was not comparable to before, Leo said, "Fried, I'll gently pat this skeleton later. My punches are a bit too strong, I'm afraid I might smash your skeleton to pieces with one blow."
"Haha, don't worry, it won't break." Fried said nonchalantly, "My skeleton is tough enough. The undead we create through the medium are even tougher than their original form. Even if you're a Pros, you can't shatter it with one punch. Go ahead and punch as hard as you want, and if you really shatter my skeleton, I won't blame you."
"I can't say anymore, I can't hold it in."
Fried ran away quickly.
Leo examined the skeleton, clenching his fists in curiosity about its sturdiness.
Fried spoke with such confidence that he was also curious to see if he could shatter the skull with a single punch.
After a while, Fried still hadn't returned.
"Wizard Fried, it's your turn to be assessed."
"The Wizard Fried..."
An echo reverberated through the hall.
Leo knew it was time for him to make his move.
However, after thinking about it, Leo decided not to hit the skeleton with all his might.
His current physical abilities are quite extraordinary; this punch will most likely shatter the skeleton.
Leo raised his fist, saving most of his strength to slam it down.
As Leo threw that punch...
Not long after, Fried rushed back.
"It's my turn."
"Leo, I'll go in for the inspection first."
Fried recalled the skeleton, and suddenly, he exclaimed.
"Leo, you're really strong. Cracks have appeared on my skull."
"My skeleton is as hard as metal, I never expected you could crack it like that, you're amazing."
Fried first sighed, then said smugly, "But, just as I said, my skeleton is very hard, and even if you go all out, you can't break it."
Leo asked, "This skeleton has cracks; can it still be used?"
"It's alright, I have the magic to repair the undead."
As Fried was speaking, the voices urging him to get the certificate rang out again in the hall.
Fried said, "That's all, I'm going to get it checked. Wish me luck."
Fried said this as he walked toward the counter.
There is a long corridor, at the end of which is the room where the examination is conducted.
After a while, a notification sound rang out in the lobby.
"Wizard Leo, it's your turn to be assessed."
Fried also emerged from the passageway, his face beaming with smiles; clearly, the result was good.
Leo walked through the passage to the end, where he found himself in a room with walls made of white metal.
Inside the room, there was a bed, surrounded by four crystal balls, and a wizard was standing there.
The examining wizard said indifferently, "Go lie down on the bed."
"Yes."
Leo lay on the bed, the four crystals radiating light.
The examiner's voice rang out again: "Activate the meditation technique."
After an unknown amount of time, the wizard's voice rang out: "Alright, here are your results."
"Your current mental strength talent is level 5."
"Possesses three mental qualities."
"A second awakening of mental power, a war-type growth mental trait, and an unknown, unactivated trait."
Leo took the paper handed to him by the examining wizard.
Above are listed the two spiritual qualities he mentioned, and another quality that is listed as unknown.
However, next to the second awakening of mental power trait, it says "not activated".
The examining wizard said, "Your mental talent was previously rated at level 3, but now it's level 5. This should be related to your second awakening of mental abilities."
"However, your second awakening of mental power has not yet been activated. I speculate that although it is not activated, it should be in a leaked state, which is why your mental power talent level has increased. Based on the test results, once fully activated, your mental power talent may be quite close to level 6."
Upon hearing this, Leo frowned almost imperceptibly.
His mental strength talent is at level 5, which is likely due to the beginner meditation manual and has nothing to do with his mental traits.
As for this second awakening of spiritual power, it should already exist, but it has not yet been activated.
Leo never expected that his second awakening of mental power, which he had only used as a pretext, would actually be real; it just hadn't been awakened yet.
The examining wizard continued, "You possess three traits. The first is a rare spiritual trait; although there are many examples, it is still quite rare among wizards. The second is a spiritual trait unique to you Pros people."
"As for the third type of spiritual trait, it is an undiscovered and unknown spiritual trait."
"If you are curious about this unknown spiritual quality, you can contact me anytime. This is my business card. After it awakens, I can use it as a research project topic to help you research the specific effects of this spiritual quality."
Leo paused for a moment, then asked, "My lord wizard, could this third mental trait possibly have any adverse effects on me?"
