Actually, I think it's not so popular to post a personal reflection in a single chapter these days, but I'm a bit old-fashioned, so I'll still do it.
There are two main things.
One reason is to thank my long-time readers; without you, this book wouldn't exist.
One is to thank my new readers; without you, this book would definitely have flopped.
To be honest, this result isn't exactly phenomenal, but it has far exceeded my expectations. I checked yesterday, and it reached as high as fourth on the new book chart, second among new fantasy books, and even won a Sanjiang Award.
Wow, I would never have dared to dream of this before. When this book was released, my readers told me that if it made it into the top ten, I would have said, "That's bullshit."
Thank you all for your kind words.
I saw a comment saying I'm a "demonic being from beyond the realm," but let me clarify, I'm really not. I always tell people that I'm at most a "minor demon from beyond the realm."
I'll share my thoughts on "The Tumor" and other related ideas when the book is finished.
Enough with the chit-chat. I got back pretty late today, so I'm not going to do anything else. I'll just start writing and see how many chapters I can get today.
Let's aim for third place and strive for fifth.
