"Yes, Leon is up there."
Leon's smile faded, he walked past Lilita, and then quickly ran downstairs.
When did Lilita arrive in Guberlan?
Since she is in Guberlan,
Does that mean Avery is here too?
Leon,
Add a divinely accurate fortune teller,
hiss,
Could Caesar really tolerate these things?
Never mind, Anna's safety is the top priority now.
Thinking this, Leon quickly stopped a patrolling cavalryman behind the tower.
Leon arrogantly dragged a cavalryman off, and immediately spurred his horse towards the outside of the palace.
When Leon arrived in Peaceful Town, he found neither Hebrew nor Anna.
But inside Anna's room, she found Hazel.
"How will you be here?"
Leon was somewhat incredulous. He had been forcibly brought back by the angels via teleportation. Normally, it shouldn't have been this fast to get from the Snow City to Guberlan.
"I returned to Guberlan this morning."
Hazel answered, then paused before adding, "She came back with Helena."
"Helena is also in Guberlan!"
Leon was stunned.
"Ah."
Hazel nodded gently, "To avoid suspicion, I won't attend your wedding."
"Hazel, please tell Helena for me that I was forced into this situation, and that I have absolutely no connection with the vampire saintess!"
Leon felt that there might still be a way to salvage the situation.
"What about the moonlight and the message to Philippa?"
Hazel raised an eyebrow. "It's...quite nice to listen to."
"This is actually a misunderstanding."
Leon wanted to explain.
"When you were pursuing me, I never saw you write poems or compose music."
Hazel spoke in a joking tone.
"Uh, let's get down to business. Where's Anna? I got word that that tomboy Hebrew is coming here to cause trouble."
Leon said seriously.
“I was a step too late. When Helena and I arrived, Anna had just been captured not long before.”
Hazel replied.
"Helena's here too?"
"Yes, she said she wanted to see Anna, so I came with her. Then we suspected that Anna had been kidnapped. Because of your arrival, we can now confirm that she has been kidnapped. The one who kidnapped Anna was the Sword Hero Hebrew."
"Where is Helena now?"
"She went to ask the villagers around her for information, and she'll probably be back soon—she's already back."
After a moment's hesitation, Heyleton looked toward the fence of Anna's yard.
Standing there was Helena, who had rushed back in a hurry.
"Hazel, Anna has really disappeared."
Helena's petite body swayed slightly, but when her rose-red eyes fell on Leon, her body stiffened abruptly.
"Helena."
Leon strode out of the house.
"Why are you here, Prince Leon? Your wedding is the day after tomorrow. You must be quite busy right now."
Helena smiled slightly and spoke in a nonchalant tone.
"Helena, it's not what you think. Never mind, I'll explain later. Let's figure out how to find Anna first, okay?"
Leon stepped forward and took Helena's hand.
“Sister Anna is gone, and soon... soon you will be someone else’s husband. I... I feel so ridiculous. Just a few days ago you said you would marry me.”
Helena smiled and gently pushed Leon's hand away. "Leon, are we still boyfriend and girlfriend?"
"um, yes."
"Then let's break up."
Chapter Thirty-Seven: Entrapment
Fortunately, Helena is still rational.
But what if something happens to Anna...
We have to find that bastard Hebrew as soon as possible.
Upon returning to the palace, Leon had no time to grieve and went straight to Hebrew's men.
"Where is your Hebrew captain?"
"Leon asked."
"I don't know, he hasn't shown up since the day before yesterday."
The soldier replied.
"Where else could that Hebrew fellow go?"
Leon was pacing back and forth when Hawkeye suddenly led a large group of servants toward him.
"Your Highness Leon, we've finally found you."
Hawkeye's unchanging work clothes were suddenly replaced with an expensive formal suit.
"This is what you are doing?"
Leon had a bad feeling.
"The wedding is just around the corner. As the groom, Your Highness, you need to rehearse the ceremony with us."
Hawkeye bowed and then added in a low voice, "This is His Majesty's order. From now until the end of the wedding, you are not allowed to go anywhere."
Sure enough, this is troublesome.
Leon felt as if a huge stone had been placed in his heart.
Hebrews were fond of women.
He would go to the tavern every day to get the young girls drunk.
The pubs she frequented that lured girls included...
Helena strolled through the streets, recalling the place Leon had told her about where she might find the Hebrews.
She wore a clean and tidy white fitted tulle dress, and her smooth black hair was tied into two braids on the left and right sides, which made her look like an innocent and naive schoolgirl.
She used her optimization skill to change her appearance. Although her face is no longer as stunning as it was before, it still exudes an indescribable delicate and charming beauty, and she attracts a lot of attention when walking down the street.
She and Hazel were searching for Hebrew separately in the various taverns Leon had mentioned.
"Bogel's Tavern".
Helena stopped in front of a tavern.
This is one of the taverns that Leon mentioned, a place Hebrews frequented.
Upon entering the tavern, Helena quickly scanned all the customers but did not spot Hebrew.
"Miss, would you like something to drink?"
As she passed the bar, the bartender greeted Helena with a smile.
The bartender was a young, single man who caught the eye of the glamorous Helena the moment she stepped into the bar.
Helena ignored the bartender; she was in a terrible mood.
"Miss, we've been a business for ten years, and our wines are quite good."
The bartender continued, "You don't seem to be in a good mood? If you're in a bad mood, you should have a drink."
drink wine……
Can drinking really relieve sorrow?
"Then—let's have an ice-cold beer."
Helena paused for a moment, then said softly.
"Okay."
The bartender smiled and said, "Please wait a moment."
Soon, Helena was sitting at the bar, holding an ice-cold beer in both hands.
The pale yellow liquid contains lemon and ice. When you shake the glass, the ice cubes collide with the glass, making a popping sound.
Helena took a small sip and found it very bitter; it didn't taste good at all.
"Miss, are you drinking alone?"
Just then, a neutral voice came from behind. Helena turned her head and saw a "man" with long hair that covered his ears and the ends of his hair almost covered his neck. The man's face was very handsome, as handsome as a young girl.
Helena's heart skipped a beat when she saw that face overlapped with someone in her memory.
Hebrew!
"Ah."
Helena suppressed her emotions, and the girl shyly lowered her head towards the wine glass, nodding.
“Mr. Hebrew…”
When the bartender saw Hebrew, a hint of annoyance flashed across his face, but it quickly turned into a smile.
"Iced beer? This isn't very good. I know this pub well. The best beer here is Mozart. It's on me. Want to try some?"
Hebrew sat down next to Helena, sitting upright and properly, like a gentleman.
"This is not good."
Helena was reserved.
"It was indeed a bit presumptuous of me to invite you for drinks, please forgive me. I felt an instant connection with you, and you look a bit like my beloved younger sister who has passed away."
Hebrew Yu Yu said, looking at Helena with deep affection.
"I'm sorry, I brought back unpleasant memories for you."
Helena apologized.
"It's okay, I just hope you can have a drink with me and chat, that would make me very happy."
Hebrew spoke in a gentle voice.
"Alright then, it's my honor to be able to help you with your worries."
Helena smiled sweetly.
"Bartender, thank you for your help."
Hebrew smiled and looked at the trainer.
