Chapter 54: 54:Hacking
Chapter 54: 54:Hacking
Evan called the private detective once again and requested two things.
First, he wanted the contact information of Biswas Enterprise employees, including their contact numbers, emails, and as many details as possible, followed by information on party members.
His second request was an odd one that even startled the detective.
He tasked the detective to look for tea fields in cold hilly regions for sale. Especially in places that were a bit far from settlements with limited communication.
The Northeastern region of Indra, with its hilly mountains, was an ideal place. Initially, the detective refused his request saying that it wasn't a part of his job. However, when Evan offered more money, the detective agreed.
After all, "If there's anything you can't buy with money, it just means that you aren't spending enough"-- Money Tzu.
With a slight push, the detective finally agreed to take the good cash.
The main purpose behind Evan assigning the task to the detective was to keep this a secret, who knew if he started searching through agents, the matter might be leaked to others.
Meanwhile, Evan began looking for a small luxury villa in a good location with heavy secrets.
His previous apartment was sold to Celina which he didn't want to take money from, but she forced him. She took out a home loan for 3 million and gave Evan 2.6 million, which he had to reluctantly agree with.
With this money along with his leftover savings, Evan spends 9 million to buy a villa. It was an investment, as land and property prices were shooting up.
Generally, the income from the Tea Box cafe was divided into four parts: 15% for salaries, 15% for raw materials, bills, and others, and 30% as an emergency fund. And leftover was Evan's salary.
However, needing to speed up the process, Evan used all the emergency funds.
From the beginning of 23rd December to the current 27th February, the Tea Box Cafe generated a revenue of 30.9 million rupees excluding the bills and other expenses.
After everything, Evan had a little over 3 million left with himself and 3.5 million as an emergency fund.
The emergency fund was initially around 9 million, but due to all the farce, Evan decided that he needed to make the Tea Box cafe big and secure a loyalty contract.
So, he bought a large two-story building in the centre of the business district in BBSR, surrounded by high-rise buildings and skyscrapers.
From here, Evan planned to begin his expansion of the multinational chain of coffee, tea, and breweries.
His goal was to surpass Sunbucks and dominate Indra before expanding to other countries.
The name was also changed from Tea Box Cafe to Brew Heaven.
All that remained was securing a proper channel from plantations.
Until the matter of cultivation of Spirit Vitalizing tea was resolved, Evan wasn't going to hurry.
As for the matter of solving the ongoing trouble, the moment he got the date from the detective, he will show those fuckers who messed with him whom they had acted against.

Evan was quite satisfied with the data that was being showcased before his eyes, especially his fighting stats.
The reason he wasn't able to advance in fighting and remained stuck was because what the system provided was intermediate-level fighting knowledge or muscle memory, however, his body hadn't reached the level to execute such moves.
If he dared to use the skills now, he might snap his muscles, thereby injuring himself in the process.
After reviewing everything, he finally began his operations...
_____
TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!
Evan's fingers danced across the keyboard as he embarked on his mission to infiltrate Das Enterprise's server.
With focused determination, he initiated the first step...
Using tools like Nmap, he scanned for open ports and vulnerabilities, pinpointing any potential entry points.
Step 1. Reconnaissance
Evan began by using tools like Nmap to scan Das Enterprise's network for open ports and potential vulnerabilities.
Step 2. Exploitation
After identifying a vulnerable port, Evan launched a targeted attack using tools like Metasploit. He then employed techniques such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting to bypass security measures and gain access to the server.
Step 3. Privilege Escalation
Once he was inside the server, Evan used privilege escalation techniques to gain higher levels of access, which allowed him to navigate through directories and access sensitive information.
Step 4. Phishing Campaign
To compromise employees' devices, Evan crafted convincing phishing emails using tools like Social Engineering Toolkit (SET). These emails contained malicious links or infected attachments, enticing employees to click and unwittingly give Evan access to their devices.
Step 5. Device Access
Now that he had access to employees' devices, Evan extracted SIM card and phone number information using tools like Aircrack-ng and Wireshark and also employed techniques like Remote Access Trojans (RATs) to gain persistent access to their devices.
