Chapter 436 436:Final War[IV]
Despite being brutally hit into the pillar with blood trickling from the corner of his lips, Walter remained relentless.
He spat out blood, wiped his mouth, and charged yet again, his movements still fast and unpredictable.
This time, he caught Evan off guard—a knee strike to the stomach, followed by a vicious elbow to the back of his head.
The blow made Evan stagger and fall, but he refused to fall. Gritting his teeth, he launched forward, grabbing Walter's head and slamming it into the ground with such force that it created a tumbling shockwave that rippled outward, sending the dust and debris swirling around the place.
The concrete cracked before it caved in, rubble scattering everywhere.
Walter roared in rage. He wrapped his arms around Evan's waist in a bone-crunching bear hug before lifting him off the ground and slamming him hard on the ground. The impact sent shockwaves through the already weakened floor, making it tremble beneath them.
Just as Walter raised his foot to stomp on Evan's chest, the doors burst open.
"It seems I have reinforcement," Evan sneered with a chuckle.
Evan's guards stormed in, their weapons drawn. They had fought through Walter's forces and secured the area. One of them shouted, "Sir! Walter's guards have been neutralized!"
Hearing that, Evan felt a sense of relief. Good! That meant this was now a one-on-one fight.
Walter snarled upon realizing he had lost his backup. His eyes flickered with fury, but before he could react, Evan tackled him full force, sending both of them crashing through the weakened wall.
BOOOM!
Evan slammed Walter's body through the wall, exploding it outward before launching them into the open air.
Finding no support below, Evan couldn't help but curse himself for being too indecisive. In order to land a deadly blow to his enemy, he hadn't checked his surroundings.
And now, they were both plummeting from the fifth floor.
CRASH!
As the wall shattered into pieces, sending them flying into the open air, the wind roared past them while plummeting toward the ground.
Thinking fast, Evan reached for a nearby block of debris to slow his descent, but Walter wasn't planning to let that happen. He reached out and grabbed Evan's leg before yanking him downward.
Now, both of them were falling uncontrollably, their bodies twisting in midair.
"Let me check if he is alive."

Above them, Suri stood on the broken ledge, watching the scene unfold with cold eyes.
Her heart ached slightly when she saw Evan limping, his body battered and bloodied. Even though she knew he was strong, seeing him in such a wrecked state made something stir inside her.
She clenched her fists as she watched him slowly approach Walter, who still lay on the ground motionless, his face pressed into the dirt, blood oozing from his wounds.
Evan clapped his hands together and spoke in a cold, commanding voice.
"Enough of your drama. Get up. We need to finish this."
A deep silence lingered.
Walter didn't react.
Evan clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tch." He raised his fist, ready to land one final punch to end it.
But just as his fist was about to connect—
Walter's head twisted around 180° in an unnatural movement.
His eyes snapped open, glowing a bright, eerie red.
"!!!"
A massive laser beam shot out from Walter's mouth.
BOOOOOM!
A blinding explosion engulfed everything.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!"
Suri's mind went blank, and her scream pierced through the chaos as she jumped down, trying her best to reach Evan as quickly as possible.
