Without the pressure of the base, Qin Yuan and Lin Yun slept very well that night. When Lin Yun opened his eyes in the morning, he saw that it was already 10 o'clock. This was indeed the latest he had gotten up since the outbreak of the virus. Sometimes, even if he had worked the night shift the night before and only went to sleep at six o'clock in the morning, he would still have to wake up before eight o'clock.
Qin Yuan was still fast asleep next to him. He had slept so soundly last night that he hadn't even heard Qin Yuan snoring.
Without waking Qin Yuan, he took the toiletries he used yesterday and went to the bathroom in the living room to wash up. He found that no one else was up yet. The sun outside the window was already very bright, and it was clear how high the temperature was outside.
Lin Yun had just finished washing up when he saw Lu Yuan, still rubbing his eyes and looking groggy, come out of his single bedroom. His room had a bathroom, and he had already washed up and changed his clothes when he came out.

Lu Yuan was so tired last night that he forgot to bring clothes for everyone. "Where did you go to find these supplies? How come you have everything in your space?" Lin Yun took the clothes, feeling incredulous. He was actually quite suspicious of where Lu Yuan and the others had gone to be able to take out Tang swords and crossbows from their space.
Hearing this question, Lu Yuan immediately sobered up. At least for now, he couldn't let Qin Yuan and Lin Yun know how many incredible things were in the space. "When we first came out, we went to the supermarket in the school dormitory area, Pei Ge's chain supermarket, and I put everything in the warehouse into the space."
"You guys are really something!" Lin Yun exclaimed. The two sets of clothes Lu Yuan gave him were indeed regular supermarket items. They had previously discussed the origins of the Tang sword and crossbow. He guessed that the car Lu Yuan mentioned in the space yesterday was most likely Gu Nanfeng and Pei Sihao's own car.
Putting aside his doubts, he took the clothes back to his room. To be honest, after so many years in the military, they weren't used to wearing hotel bathrobes. He had originally planned to take out yesterday's clothes to wash, but he was worried about using too much water and was still wondering what to do.
"Brother Lin, come out and eat later~" Lu Yuan said, then ran into the kitchen and started rummaging through his spatial storage for today's breakfast.
When Qin Yuan woke up, it was almost noon. Apart from Zhong Qiang, everyone else in the living room was already sitting at the dining table, and they had almost finished eating their breakfast.
With dark circles under his eyes, Yang Xiao declared that he would rather sleep on the floor in Lu Yuan's room or on the sofa in the living room than share a room with Zhong Qiang again.
Lin Yun laughed and said, "Then Zhong Qiang can share a room with Lao Qin and let them hurt each other."
"It's been so long since I've slept in such a soft bed, I don't want to get up in the morning at all." Pei Sihao stretched.
"The hotel has three warehouses: one is the kitchen warehouse, one is the convenience store warehouse, and the largest one is the supply warehouse for the various themed shops in the resort." Gu Nanfeng flipped through the information about the resort on his phone. It was sent to him by Gu Yining before, but he hadn't looked at it carefully at the time. He took it out to look at it before going to bed last night.
“Because the park was closed for maintenance before, the food in the kitchen warehouse probably won’t be plentiful. If there is any, it will most likely be frozen meat or something. The convenience store warehouse should have plenty of stock. I remember the original plan was for this place to open during the summer vacation, so they should have already started receiving supplies. Gu Nanfeng doesn't plan to let everyone leave the park today. After all, there don't seem to be many zombies here, and there's really nothing urgent right now. Since there's no one else around, they can thoroughly loot all the supplies in the park and then peacefully spend a few days lying around doing nothing.
"What about the poultry?" Qin Yuan and Lin Yun asked in unison. Although they planned to leave the safe base, they still cared about the people and wanted to determine the matter as soon as possible before reporting it to the base command.

While the group was still discussing, Pei Sihao's satellite phone rang. It was his mother calling, and Pei Sihao answered it without thinking much about it.

Pei Sihao guessed that Pei Simin had probably arranged for someone in Beijing to pick him and Gu Nanfeng up in G City, but when they contacted the security base, they found out that they were on a mission. His mother didn't know that they almost got infected with the virus, but his brother probably already knew.
"Mom, stop!" Pei Sihao interrupted his mother's nagging. "I'm fine. Is your older brother next to you?"
"Yes!" The voice on the other end of the phone became Pei Simin's. "Gu Nanfeng, you brat, how did you take care of my brother!"
"Brother Min, I'm sorry." Gu Nanfeng could tell from Pei Simin's tone that he was fully aware of what had happened. However, this accident was indeed his fault. Logically, he should have stopped Pei Sihao from joining in the fun, but instead, he went along himself.
"Where are you now? I'll arrange for a helicopter to pick you up!" Pei Simin's attitude was serious, leaving them no room for refusal.
“We’re at Sister Yining’s chain resort right now, everything’s fine, don’t worry!” Pei Sihao wasn’t lying. Apart from the possibility of carrying the virus, they really were on vacation.

"What do you mean?" Pei Simin was very sensitive. As a first-tier city, Beijing hardly had any live livestock anymore. They were all slaughtered and sent directly to supermarkets. The only live animals that could be seen in daily life were various pets.
The Pei family doesn't have a habit of keeping pets, so they didn't pay attention to this issue after moving to the base. They haven't seen anyone at the base with pet cats or dogs; it seems everyone has ignored these animals.
“We went to an agricultural products market yesterday, but we didn’t see a single animal!” Pei Sihao said. “We also plan to visit the park’s zoo later.”
"Don't leave the park. Yi Ning said there's definitely food inside. I'll check on the animals and then arrange for a helicopter to pick you up." Pei Simin hung up the phone after saying that. He was indeed a good commander who cared about the people. Pei Sihao breathed a sigh of relief.
Pei Sihao had just hung up his satellite phone when Gu Nanfeng's phone rang again. It was indeed from Gu's parents. "Nanfeng, please be careful. Simin will arrange for someone to pick you up in a couple of days."
Gu Nanfeng could tell from the background noise on the phone that the two families were together. After all, it had only been a little over two months, and the base in Beijing wouldn't be very big. He guessed that the two families were probably living together.
"Okay, I understand." Gu Nanfeng was much more patient than Pei Sihao. After listening to his mother's instructions and his father's admonition, the Gu family finished their nagging. Pei's mother, still worried, chatted with him for a while, asking him to take good care of his younger brother, Pei Sihao. In the end, Pei Sihao couldn't stand it anymore and hung up the phone for Gu Nanfeng.
