Chapter 51 LADIES STORM
Chapter 51 LADIES STORM
Laura: "Did you get Alan's message?"
Laura came running into Carla's office without even bothering to knock; she entered with excitement plastered on her face.
Carla: "Yes, I just got it. He's finally back. Why don't we go and see him? We can tell him about the preparation for the auction."
Laura smiled.
Laura: "A great excuse, I guess."
Carla: "Shut up; it's an excuse for both of us. Why don't we go now? We are free for the afternoon; I really miss his cooking."
Laura: "Just his cooking, hehe, but me too; I want to eat something he cooked, so let's go."
Unbeknownst to Alan, a great storm was heading to his house.
...
Mason and Alan spend most of their time in the training room as Mason offered to help Alan in his training.
Meanwhile the ladies were spending the afternoon relaxing in the back garden.
Suddenly there was a knock on the front entrance of the house.
Ariana: "Hmm, we have visitors."
Lana: "I will go get it; Mom and Auntie can relax."
Lana went to the front door to see who the visitor was. As she opened the door, she was surprised to find two young, beautiful females who looked as beautiful as her but much more mature.
Lana: "Hello, who are you?"
Both Laura and Carla froze when they saw this young and beautiful girl in front of them that was not that far in age from Alan.
Carla: "I think I have the right home; this is the Ortex household, so excuse me, who are you?"
Lana: "I am Lana Hunt, a friend of Alan's. May I know who you are again?"
Laura: "My name is Laura, and this is my cousin Carla. We are close friends of Alan. Would you mind if we went inside? Talking here at the door is not appropriate."
Lana took a deep look at the two beauties as she felt her stomach clench when they mentioned that they were close friends with Alan.
Lana: "I'm so sorry, please come in. Auntie Ariana is in the garden with my mother."
Both Carla's and Laura's eyes widened as they did not expect this girl's mother to be here.
Following after Lana, they reached the garden.
Ariana, who saw the two girls following Lana into the garden, stood up as she welcomed them.
Ariana: "Welcome! I thought you forgot about me."
Carla: "How could we forget about someone who is so beautiful like you? We were jammed with work and couldn't come. Please forgive us."
Ariana: "I'm just joking; I really miss you a lot. Come have a seat; let me introduce you to my friend, who is like a little sister to me.
You two have met Lana; this is her mother, Rosaline Hunt.
Rosa, those two are Carla and Laura. Don't let their young age fool you; both of them are successful young ladies. Carla is the president of the Chamber of Commerce that Alan works at, and Laura is the head operator there.
They are like a family to us.
Rosalie: "It is always nice to meet such charming ladies. My name is Rosaline Hunt."
Carla: "That was our reaction to when we first saw the treasures before our eyes."
Lana: "Incredible!!!"
Rosaline took deep breaths as she looked at both young ladies, who were beautiful and smart from a very good family, and she felt a headache.
Rosaline sent a telepathic transmission to her young daughter.
"You have a formidable opponent, so you need to up your game if you truly like that kid."
Lana, who heard her mother's voice vibrating inside her head, blushed. Then she looked at both beautiful sisters in front of her.
Lana: "Lady Carla and Lady Laura, I will not lose."
With fire burning inside her eyes, she was the first to declare war.
Carla: "You came late, and you want to kick us out and close the gate. Not happening on my watch. I will not lose either."
Laura: "Me too. The best will win."
Staring at each other with a high intensity as lightning was getting out of their eyes, clashing with each other, showing their determination.
At that moment Ariana came in with cakes.
Ariana: "It's good that you are getting along together; why don't we have some cake?"
Rosaline smiled stiffly at her big sister as she was thinking on the inside, "Oh, big sis, they definitely get along well together.
Rosaline: "We are also participating in the auction that your Chamber of Commerce is preparing."
Laura: "It's an honor; I can give you the clear list for all the items to take a look at."
Rosaline: "I would appreciate that. My husband was secretly excited about this auction."
Ariana: "Did they tell you the story about the treasures?"
Lana: "They did to us; big brother Alan is amazing."
Rosaline: "I just want to know, big sis, how did you raise him exactly to become like this?"
Ariana: "I didn't do anything great; I only taught him by example and left him to his own devices. He was always dependable and mature beyond his years."
From inside the house, hearing the laughter of the ladies, Mason and Alan were curious, so they came to see what was going on.
The moment they entered, Rosaline introduced her husband.
Rosaline: "This is my husband, Mason Hunt. Dear, these two young ladies are Carla and Laura Fairfax. They are very, very good friends of Alan's."
Rosaline was truly gentle on the outside and a devil on the inside as she empathized with the friendship between the two ladies and Alan.
Mason: "It's a pleasure meeting you both."
Even though he greeted the two ladies, his face darkened as he looked at Alan.
Alan: "You've got my message; why don't you have lunch with us today?"
Pretending not to notice Mason's look, Alan talked with Laura and Carla.
Carla: "Of course we can't go back without eating something you cooked; maybe at lunch you can tell us about your latest adventure with Lady Lana."
Laura: "Indeed, it must have been exciting to spend 15 days in the wild together."
Both of them looked proper as they smiled at Alan. To the untrained eye, it looked like a pleasant interaction, but beyond their smiles, Alan felt the anger in their voices and knew that he was in deep trouble.
