The Absolute beast Tamer

Chapter 24 Turning trouble into a miracle

Chapter 24 Turning trouble into a miracle

Earlier inside the office, Carla and Laura were keeping Mrs. Johnson company.

Even after more than 10 hours had passed, the noble princess did not show any sign of retreating.

Mrs. Johnson: [Thank you for giving me the tour. Being a branch president at such a young age, you're practically the model for our generation.]

Carla: [Thank you for your praise. I'm not that great, just doing what I can when I can.]

While exchanging pleasantries, exhaustion can be seen on everyone's face inside the office after so many hours had passed, and yet this noble princess kept insisting on staying on site.

Just as they were talking trivia, suddenly Mrs. Johnson's expression changed, and a huge influx of Ena filled the room.

After 5 minutes everything subsided and the room returned to normal, but Mrs. Johnson immediately stood up and started running.

Carla And Laura, with a confused expression all over their faces, followed her in a hurry.

Mrs. Johnson went running to the warehouse. Not even knocking at the door, forcefully opening it, which shocked Carla, as fear grabbed her heart, feeling that something went wrong.

....

Both Alan and Grandpa Yan looked at the beautiful lady standing at the door trying to catch her breath.

Mrs. Johnson: "Is... is that my Lyra?

Grandpa Yan: "Indeed, Mrs. Johnson, thankfully, with a huge stroke of luck, Lyra had evolved into the desired direction."

As if in a trance, Mrs. Johnson walked towards the huge, majestic-looking antler deer in the middle of the room, gently brushing Lyra's hide and communicating with her partner as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

A few minutes went by when Mrs. Johnson took a deep breath to calm herself down and looked at Grandpa Yan.

Mrs. Johnson: "Elder Yan, although I have heard a lot about your reputation, I will be honest with you: my hopes were close to Nell for this evolution to happen. You are my and my partner's benefactor; I can't even find the words to thank you."

Grandpa Yan: "I don't blame you; after all, you tried the headquarters in the capital, and they couldn't deliver. Even when I started, I was 95% sure that the evolution would fail. Your feelings are appreciated, but now you and your partner could use some rest. Put her inside the sanctuary to let her stabilize her cultivation, because of forcefully holding back her breakthrough to the fourth stage, she made huge progress, and she needs to digest her gains."

Mrs. Johnson looked at Elder Yan, her eyes reflecting deep gratitude; she bowed slightly and took Lyra inside her sanctuary. After repeatedly thanking Grandpa Yan, she retired for the day.

Carla and Laura were both shocked, frozen at the door of the warehouse, not believing what kind of miracle had happened in front of them.

Carla: "Grandpa, you seriously evolved the deer beast into a winged antler deer. You have discovered a new evolutionary path; your name will truly go down in history."

Laura: "This feat that Grandpa achieved is an impossible task even for those fourth-class evolution masters."

Alan: "Thank you, Grandpa Yan, for your understanding. Now this is a joyful occasion, so let's not sink into a depressive mood. I have already made my mind, and I won't change it."

Carla and Laura looked at Alan, who for the first time felt as if he had understood the world much better than they did.

Grandpa Yan: "Indeed, this is a joyful occasion. The moment those in HQ hear about the result, they will be fuming in anger. I would bet all that I own just to see the expressions on their faces. Now that we could form a good relationship with the Noble clan, achieving this is a huge feat, breaking all their schemes in one move."

Grandpa started laughing; clearly, he was very happy with these miraculous results.

Watching Grandpa Yan laughing, everyone in the warehouse couldn't help but laugh.

Alan: "It is already so late; I really need to get going; my family must be worried about me."

Grandpa Yan: "Sorry to keep you this late. Go ahead; thank you for everything."

Alan: "I am the one who should thank Grandpa."

Carla: "Little brother, you did not forget your promise. Now you are a rich man; you won't be so cheap just because of a meal."

Laura: "Indeed, little brother, a generous man is always a popular one. You should not forget your promise."

Alan: "I did not forget; I was just waiting for the right time. How about after tomorrow you come to my house for dinner?"

Grandpa Yan: "Already going to his house, both of them are my granddaughter's, although one is strict and the other is a tomboy. Please take care of them."

Carla: "Grandpa!!! ... Why does it feel like you are sending me to get married?

Laura's cheeks had become slightly rosy.

Saying his goodbyes, Alan headed home exhausted. Today he risked exposing his talent, but he did not regret it as a grandpa. Yan and his granddaughters are the type of people Alan likes the most: sincere and righteous people that he had wished he met in his last life.

30 minutes later he opened the door to his house, only to find his mother in the living room reading a book.

Ariana: "How was the emergency at work? I hope everything was alright."

Alan: "Everything was much better than all right. It went excellently; sorry to keep you waiting for me this late; you should have slept.

Ariana: "I thought that with the emergency you must have forgotten to eat; let's have a late dinner, just me and you; Lily's fast asleep. If she knew that we were eating without her, she would probably be upset."

Alan and Ariana both laughed, imagining the cute little Lily complaining about them for eating delicious food without her.

After he had dinner with his mother, Alan retired to his room and immediately sank into sleep, clearly exhausted after more than 12 hours of debating and researching information about evolution. He came to appreciate his Eye of Ra again, knowing how much of a cheat his talent can be.
