Chapter 23: Best Friend's Notice

Lin Yanan has been absent-minded these days, and has no energy to do anything. Her best friend Yang Peifang sees this and is full of doubts.

That day, Yang Peifang asked Lin Yanan to go shopping. Lin Yanan was silent all the way, with a wandering gaze, and had no interest in the beautiful clothes and accessories on the street.

After coming out of the coffee shop, the two continued shopping. Passing by a jewelry store, Lin Yanan stopped involuntarily and stared at a pair of couple rings in the window.

When Yang Peifang saw her expression, she understood a little bit.

"Yanan, don't think too much. Maybe this is just a momentary impulse." Yang Peifang comforted.

Lin Yanan smiled bitterly and said, "Maybe."

After shopping, Lin Yanan returned home and lay on the bed, thinking about Yang Peifang's words, and felt even more conflicted.

On the other hand, Yang Peifang was also worried about her best friend's affairs. After thinking about it, she decided to help Lin Yanan analyze this relationship.

The next day, Yang Peifang asked Lin Yanan to meet again.

"Yanan, I thought about it all night last night. I think you should carefully consider your relationship with Ruan Jianan." Yang Peifang said seriously.

Lin Yanan said helplessly: "I know you are doing this for my own good, but I really don't know what to do."

Yang Peifang said, "Why don't you test Ruan Jianan's feelings and see what he really thinks."

Lin Yanan shook her head: "I don't dare. What if he doesn't like me? That would be so embarrassing."

Yang Peifang stamped her feet anxiously: "Oh, how do you know if you don't try?"

Just as the two were arguing, Lin Yanan's cell phone suddenly rang. It was Ruan Jianan calling.

Lin Yanan held the phone, her hands shaking a little, not knowing whether to answer it.

Yang Peifang urged, "Hurry up and answer it!"

Lin Yanan took a deep breath and pressed the answer button.
