SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 674: Problematic Desert!

Chapter 674: Problematic Desert!

"This bastard Clark family... hiding like rats in this hole for the last two decades." Jason, mama spoke in a frustrated tone.

All the supreme wizards heard the name Clark family from the mouth of Jason Mama. The name Madam Clark appeared in everyone's mind. Soon people began understanding why Jason Mama took this sudden task of riding the divine deity sect.

Just as the people, wondering, what should they do now, the supreme Dagger Magus, Thallic made a sudden appearance.

"Sovereign, we found a broken inter realm teleportation gate in an underground lair. We suspect everyone escaped through it." Thallic said in a hasty tone.

Without asking questions, Jason mama followed Thallic to observe The broken inter realm teleportation gate.

Everyone followed behind them. More or less, every single one of them understood that whatever they were doing was to find out, Clark family.

Jason mama was surprised when he saw the underground lair which stretched tens of miles. There are footsteps of millions of people on the ground. As he expected, the millions of crowd, who gathered here, definitely used this teleportation gate to escape.

But no one understood where they went. Because one must use a teleportation gate on the other side to escape. But no one can guess where all these people went.

No other realm or place would allow so many people at once into their territory. So there must be another hideout they planned before.

"Such a big teleportation gate... How could these bastards even build it? Even I need to use a part of my treasury to build this much big teleportation gate." Jason muttered In surprise ringtone, while staring at the broken teleportation gate before him.

"Sovereign, they must have moved millions of soldiers through this teleportation gate. But they also need the same size of a larger teleportation gate to move to the other side. If we can find the location of that big teleportation gate, we can track them down easily." One of the ministers of the Jason Mama suggested with a thoughtful look.

Jason's eyes lit up with the Idea. He immediately called out the supreme wizard of space and people who are proficient in building the teleportation gates.

"Try reconstructing this broken teleportation gate. Use your talent to find out where this teleportation gate pointed at before it was broken. Use any amount of wealth and people if needed. I want results in the shortest time possible." Jason Mama, declared in a serious stone with a hint of joy on his face.

Immediately, supreme space magus took the charge and sent his word to gather all space element experts among the nine realms.

Jason also sent people to enquire about locations of big teleportation gates. In minutes, the search order passed among realms.

The desolate desert...

Kent paused atop a dune, his silhouette framed against the deep orange sky. He wiped sweat from his brow and glanced at his companions trailing behind him.

Aran Lam was at his side, his staff dragging against the sand with each step. Jean trudged silently. Gunji Zing, usually the first to crack jokes, walked without a word, eyes scanning the empty horizon.

Aran Lam broke the silence. "Kent, are you sure this reverse method is working? We've been walking for days now. If we keep this up, we might circle right back to the shrine."

Kent smiled faintly, though exhaustion weighed heavily on his features. "We have no choice but to keep moving. This way, at least, we're not moving in circles."

Gunji kicked a loose rock, watching it roll down the dune. "It's just... it feels like we're walking blind. There's nothing out here. No landmarks, no creatures... not even desert beasts."

Kent knelt and let a handful of sand slip between his fingers, watching carefully. The grains scattered in the faint breeze. His eyes narrowed as the last grain spun in place and landed, pointing east.

"East," Kent muttered. "We continue this way."

Jean sighed and tugged her scarf tighter around neck. Gunji groaned but walked silently.

The group pressed forward. As the sun fully disappeared, the desert became a cold expanse, the sand beneath their feet cooling rapidly. The stars began to flicker above, offering faint light to guide their way.

Hours passed in silence, interrupted only by the sound of shifting sand beneath their boots.

Suddenly, Sparky's ears perked up. The baby dragon halted, staring at the horizon ahead.

Kent followed his gaze, but saw nothing but dunes. "What is it, Sparky?"

Sparky growled softly, shifting nervously.

Jean looked over. "He senses something."

Gunji peered into the distance. "Don't tell me it's another mirage."

Phoenix lady Ruby spread her wings and took off, circling high above them.
