SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 630 Blood Bath (1)

Chapter 630 Blood Bath (1)

The atmosphere atop Mount Meru was thick with despair and fury. The death of Fire Kirin Kavi left an indelible mark on everyone, shattering the fragile balance Kent and his companions had maintained throughout the battle.

The once-calm ritual ground was now alive with chaos as demons surged toward the gap created by Kavi's absence.

The sages, who had shown unwavering focus until now, faltered for the first time. Their chants trembled as they glanced toward the breached mountain top where countless demons roared and clawed their way up the sacred mount.

First Sage Paras, sensing the disruption, glanced at Kent. The fiery determination in the sage's eyes momentarily faltered as fear began to creep in.

Ruby, standing on her side of the mountain, was ablaze with fury. Her powerful wings spread wide, she unleashed a torrent of fiery whirlwinds that incinerated every demon within her range. Yet her anger couldn't mask the deep sorrow in her gaze. She stole glances at Kavi's lifeless body, her fiery spirit aching at the loss of her companion.

Jabil, the serpentine guardian, stood steadfast in his position. Tears rolled down his scaled face as he let loose streams of scorching blue flames, consuming hordes of demons. His attacks were relentless, almost reckless, driven by the raw pain of losing Kavi.

Just as the demons breached the summit and their vile forms began swarming toward the ritual, a roar shook the air. The baby dragon emerged, its tiny frame carrying an unimaginable force.

Positioning itself in the very spot Kavi had died, the dragon released a firestorm so intense that it scorched the mountaintop's edge, creating an inferno that kept the advancing demons at bay.

Its golden scales emitted fire with embers as it growled with rage, its moist eyes reflecting the torment of losing a Kavi.

The baby dragon's flames roared like a grieving cry, scorching rows of demons in a single breath. But for every demon that fell, another emerged, emboldened by the demon prince's wicked laughter.

"Hahahaha!" The prince's voice cut through the inferno like a jagged blade. "Your defenses are faltering! You've lost one of your precious beasts, and soon, you'll lose them all. Elders, break into the ritual ground! The sages will fall this night!"

The demons erupted in roars of excitement, their vile cheers echoing across the mountaintop as they prepared to overwhelm Meru once and for all.

The weight of failure crushed Kent. Memories of Kavi's father, entrusting her to him, flashed through his mind. 'Protect her for a lifetime, Kent...'

"Die, mortal!" the prince screamed, hurling a massive, fiery spear infused with his father's dark power.

Kent didn't flinch. He caught the spear mid-air, the weapon exploding in his grasp. Smoke and fire swirled around him, but when the dust cleared, he stood unscathed. His growl deepened, his lion-like visage terrifying even the demons who served the prince.

Kent roared, his voice shaking the heavens.

With a burst of speed, he leapt into the air, crashing down into the center of the demon army. The impact sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield, flattening dozens of demons instantly.

Kent spun, his fists and claws tearing through everything in his path. Blood and ash filled the air, but he didn't stop his advance.

The demon prince, now cowering atop his throne, unleashed another spell, a black storm that consumed the sky. "I'll destroy you, Kent! I'll rip your soul apart!"

Kent roared in defiance, leaping through the storm with his fists raised. His claws ripped through the storm's core, dissipating it like smoke.

The remaining demon kings rallied to form a final line of defense before the prince. But Kent tore through them like a beast possessed, his attacks growing more savage with every step. Each demon he struck fell in a grotesque display of broken armor and shattered limbs.

The prince, seeing Kent mere feet from his throne, screamed in desperation, "Elders, stop him! Kill this beast!"

Kent leapt forward, landing on the chariot of demon princes. His lion-like eyes locked onto the prince, and his claws crackled with lightning. The prince scrambled back, his bravado replaced by terror.

Ignira rushed to stop Kent as she knew the consequence of killing a demon prince. The seven sages also felt the urge to stop Kent but they couldn't get up now.

With a menacing look, Kent grabbed the throat of the demon prince and lifted high into the air.
