Chapter 4 First Experience

Lu Feng sneered and stopped, staring at the few people who were rushing towards him. He bent down and swung his stick, hitting the first person on the shin.

The shinbone is very fragile. With a crisp cracking sound, the man screamed and lay on the ground clutching his leg, groaning in pain.

Then, bending his legs and straightening his back, he used the momentum to jump and sweep horizontally towards the second temple.

Li Wei hurriedly shouted, "Hold back a little, don't kill him!"

Lu Feng paused slightly, and the second man hurriedly bent down to dodge the blow, raised the sharp knife in his hand, and took a step forward to stab Lu Feng in the abdomen.

Lu Feng landed, took a step forward, and thrust his staff straight forward, clearly a bayonet fighting technique used in the military.

With a long stick and a short knife, the combined force of the two men moving forward was immense. The man cried out in pain, his knife fell to the ground, and he clutched his stomach, rolling around on the ground.

Seeing this, the remaining people stopped and gathered together. The two sides faced off for a while when suddenly police lights flashed in the distance. The group shouted and cursed as they scattered and fled.

One of them rushed towards Li Wei in a panic. Li Wei stopped and swung his belt at him. When the man raised his hand to cover his head, Li Wei kicked him to the ground.

Looking up, he saw Lu Feng chasing after him. He hardened his heart and kicked the man in the leg, and the man immediately hugged his leg and cried.

Ignoring the cries of the people on the ground, he quickly followed Lu Feng in pursuit.

After running for a while without seeing Lu Feng, and seeing police cars blocking the way, Li Wei stopped, panting heavily, and walked back.

He hadn't walked far when a police car pulled up beside him. Several policemen ran out of the car, pointed their guns at Li Wei, and shouted, "Hands over your head, squat down and don't move!"

"Damn it," Li Wei cursed, "Lu Feng, you bastard, you ruined my life." But he obediently squatted down with his head in his hands.

Several policemen pulled out handcuffs and put them on Li Wei, then pushed him into the police car. The guy Li Wei had kicked over, by sheer coincidence, leaned against the side, looking at Li Wei with a sneer: "A fellow professional? Damn it, you should have said so earlier! This guy's already caught."

Li Wei ignored him and searched everywhere for Lu Feng.

A short while later, the police car drove back with its lights flashing. Li Wei, who was sitting in the cage in the back, still couldn't see Lu Feng and didn't know which car the guy had gotten into.

The guy next to him kept spewing vulgarities, which made Li Wei so angry that he kicked him a few more times.

A young policeman shouted, "All of you, behave yourselves and don't fight!"

Li Wei angrily said, "Stop talking nonsense, I am..." He suddenly stopped and fell silent.

Li Wei wondered what would happen if he mentioned Lu Feng's name and the thug next to him remembered it, and what if they had accomplices to retaliate.

There were no cars on the street late at night, and the distance wasn't far, so the car sped along and arrived at the criminal investigation team in just over ten minutes.

Several policemen shoved and pushed Li Wei into a room, searched him, took his belongings, and then disappeared.

Li Wei was furious. If he still didn't understand that he had been tricked by Lu Feng, he would be a fool. This kid must have done it on purpose. He knew that Lu Feng was going to fight back tonight, so he hid and avoided meeting him.

Li Wei yelled, "Lu Feng, you piece of trash, come out here and I'll beat you to death!"

Two junior police officers came in from outside and shouted, "What are you shouting for? Behave yourselves!"

Li Wei was so angry he almost fainted. He gritted his teeth and cursed, "Lu Feng, you bastard, just you wait!"

The two idiots pointed at Li Wei: "Squat down and behave yourself. We'll interrogate you in a bit. With your attitude, we have to teach you a lesson."

Li Wei's forehead veins bulged: "Get lost, you try treating one yourself. Lu Feng, you better not let me see you, or I'll kill you."

The two temporary workers exchanged a glance, then pulled out stun batons from their waists and prepared to open the door.

Li Wei was stunned for a moment, then roared, "You brat, are you serious? Fine! If you've got the guts, kill me. It would be best if your sister became a widow."

The auxiliary police officer paused in his unlocking process, and one of them asked, "What's your relationship with Lu Tou?"

Li Wei said impatiently, "I'm his brother-in-law."

The two men stopped fighting, exchanged a glance, and shook their heads, saying, "What a pity. How could you choose this path? Stop shouting. No one can save you. Everyone is equal before the law."

Li Wei retorted angrily, "You'll all have to obediently send me back in a bit. I haven't broken any laws."

One of the wiry young men said, "Why would we arrest you if you haven't broken the law? Why don't we arrest others?"

Okay, I'm done talking. I'm so tired. They don't know anything. I just want some peace and quiet.

Li Wei leaned against the wall, closed his eyes to rest. Anyway, Lu Feng had to show up before dawn, otherwise who would take care of the two kids? He'd better forget about me, and let his sister beat him up later.

He sat on the ground and soon fell asleep.

Li Wei was groggy and didn't know what time it was when he was woken up by the cold ground. He shivered, stood up, and rubbed a certain spot to loosen his muscles.

Once I felt warm, I leaned against the wall and continued to doze off.

The door finally opened with a whoosh, and Lu Feng, all smiles, entered with a serious-looking person.

Li Wei opened his eyes, looked around, then closed them again, slumped against the wall, and said sarcastically, "What? You remembered me? Planning to use the tiger bench and chili water on me?"

"Hehehe," Lu Feng said with a smile, "How could that be! This isn't a prison like Zhaizidong. You've misunderstood, brother-in-law. I'm here to take you home."

"Oh! I'm flattered, I'm flattered. You just arrest people and release them whenever you want? Are our rights as ordinary citizens being violated like this? Is there no justice or law left?"

Lu Feng continued with a grin: "Brother-in-law, what nonsense are you talking about? I really was delayed by something, it wasn't intentional."

"So that was intentional! Don't even think about letting me forgive you. How can you betray your own brother-in-law like this? There wasn't even a chair. Don't you know what time it is? Give me back my phone. I'm calling your sister and telling her to hurry home, cook, and take care of the kids. I'm going to be killed by her own brother."

Lu Feng wrung his hands anxiously, "Brother-in-law, how come I didn't know you were such a scoundrel? You should go home and rest, I really have something to do."

Li Wei sat on the ground, unmoved: "Nonsense, don't give me that crap. This is personal revenge, you're abusing your power. This is your boss, right? You be the judge! I was arguing with my wife and even helped you catch bad guys, so why did you lock me up and even shock me with a stun gun?"

The policeman who came with Lu Feng was not tall, only about 1.72 meters. He had a tough look on his face, and his eyes were very sharp. He looked shrewd and clever.

Hearing Li Wei's words, the two auxiliary police officers who had been eavesdropping outside the door turned around and glanced back. They were shocked and immediately protested, "Don't wrong us! When did we shock you?"

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Chen Guojun. I'm Lu Feng's superior and also the deputy captain here. Did they really shock you?"

The policeman was talking while looking at Li Wei, and then he waved to the two young men behind his back.

Li Wei opened his eyes and shook his head helplessly at the two young men: "Forget it, don't use that broken stun gun to scare people next time. It's not easy to find a job, and if you run into trouble, you'll have to go home."

He looked at Chen Guojun and said, "If you're alright, take me home! After all this commotion, Lu Feng, are you alright?"

"Oh! It's nothing, it's nothing," Lu Feng quickly replied.

Chen Guojun said in a deep voice, "Something's happened, Lao Li, it might be a bit troublesome..."
