“That’s a great relief,” Manager Li said, immediately relaxing.
Just as Manager Li let out a sigh of relief, a police car pulled up in front of the restaurant and stopped. Two officers walked in with a serious demeanor, led by a middle-aged man followed by a younger policeman.
The leading middle-aged man had a grave expression. Manager Li promptly greeted him with a smile, offering cigarettes, “Deputy Director Liu, what brings you here in person?”
“How could I not make the trip with such a serious incident occurring at the restaurant?” Deputy Director Liu huffed, then said, “Where’s the person in charge of the restaurant?”
“That’s me!” Manager Li immediately replied.
“Come with us to the station,” Deputy Director Liu responded.
“Ah? What for?” Manager Li quickly asked.
Having said that, Liu Hao went back to sleep.
On the other hand, Fang Hao heaved a sigh of relief. Since Liu Hao had agreed to help, there shouldn’t be much of a problem. However, after a moment’s thought, Fang Hao decided he couldn’t rely entirely on others. He decided to personally seek out the Deputy Chief of the main bureau.

Xiao Han was sitting in his office, with Yang Lu sitting upright across from him. Li Dapang was lounging on the sofa, a cigarette dangling from his mouth.

“That’s good to hear,” Xiao Han said, slightly relieved.
This scheme was Xiao Han’s brainchild, and probably only someone as intelligent as he could come up with such a brilliant idea and method. Everything seemed perfectly seamless. The food in the kitchen and the toxins in the victims’ stomachs were exactly the same. Even a police investigation wouldn’t find any issues. “Xiao Han, taking down Yujian Restaurant won’t be so easy!” Yang Lu said earnestly, looking at Xiao Han. “Don’t think Fang Hao is just a student, but his background is powerful. Plus, he has a wide network of connections. So...”
“Don’t worry, I never said I wanted to take him down!” Xiao Han said with a slight smile, “I just want to tarnish Yujian Restaurant’s reputation. It’s not easy to take down Fang Hao. With things unfolding as expected, there’s no need for too much worry!”
“Then... what’s your next step?” Yang Lu asked.
