After hanging up the phone, the ten sturdy men in the private room were all stunned. Xiao Han had spoken casually and seemingly calm on the phone, but his tone was not small at all. Although they didn’t know who he had called, the conversation seemed to indicate a significant influence.
“Who did you call?” a sturdy man asked curiously.

“Seems to have some power in Wangjiang District,” a sturdy man said, frowning.
“Who cares if he has power or not,” the braided man snorted, saying, “Damn it, we found a dead cockroach in our food; we can’t let this go so easily. I must make a big issue out of this. If you don’t compensate us with a hundred thousand or eighty thousand today, I’m not leaving.”
“Then stay here,” Xiao Han said, smiling. “Judging by your accents, you must be from out of town, right? Stay in Linjiang City for the next few days then.”

The other quickly overpowered them with their imposing manner. “I’m not crazy,” Xiao Han shook his head, then explained, “This is how you deal with such people, understand?”
Liu Xiaolei felt helpless, but now, besides Xiao Han, it seemed no one else could help her. Although she was scared that Xiao Han would aggravate the situation and greatly affect the restaurant’s business, she also held out a lot of hope in him. If the problem could be resolved without impacting the restaurant’s business, that would be perfect.
Soon, two Golden Vans sped towards the venue; their arrival was rapid.
After reaching the entrance, more than twenty people disembarked the vehicles.

The sturdy man’s face darkened. He glanced at the braided man, especially since there were so many on their side, making a scene, which was very surprising. He only had ten people, while the other side had a large and powerful group, and they even had knives. If they were to resist by force, it clearly seemed unrealistic. So, after a long thought, he ultimately decided to back down.
“Fine, I’ll pay!” the man nodded.
He then took money out of his pocket, counting it carefully, three thousand two hundred yuan in total.
After Liu Xiaolei received the money, she was about to give change when Xiao Han said, “Don’t rush to give change yet. He still hasn’t compensated for the damaged goods.”
“What damaged goods?” the sturdy man asked, puzzled.
“Two glasses, one chair, and the wallpaper on this wall,” Xiao Han said with a smile. “These glass cups are custom-made for us, over five hundred yuan each. The chair is made from red sandalwood, twenty-eight thousand yuan each. And the wallpaper on this wall, plus labor and cost, at least two thousand. “Fuck, you’re crazy!” The sturdy man’s face went green.
“If you don’t compensate today, don’t even think about leaving here,” Xiao Han said with a sneer at the corner of his mouth.
With a cold smile, the sturdy man then revealed a sinister grin. “You think I’m afraid of you?”
“Li Shan, I’ll leave this to you,” Xiao Han patted his hands and said, “Don’t let others think we’re easy to bully.”
“Alrighty!” Li Shan chuckled.
Xiao Han stepped aside as Li Shan and his men surrounded the other party.
Liu Xiaolei, frightened, kept slipping behind Xiao Han, fearful the situation would become too bloody. Xiao Han gently held her and said with a laugh, “Don’t be scared. You should get used to this kind of scene. These things might happen often in the future, and you need to learn to face it!”
“Xiao Han, when did you get to know a group of people like this?” Liu Xiaolei asked guardedly.
“Heh heh, I’ve known them for a while,” Xiao Han said with a smile. “Then I spent five thousand yuan to have them settle this matter for me.”
