Chapter 176 Welcome home
Chapter 176 Welcome home
Snape rolled his eyes at Afro with a look on his face, saying, "Are you kidding me?" Ron didn't believe her either, and kept telling her not to make trouble, saying that Snape was here to save them.
Afro sighed helplessly in his heart, thinking that these days, no one believed the truth.
23: Listen for yourself, is this truth credible?
"Excellent Snape, your keen perception was at fault and you got a wrong answer."
Sirius was no longer crazy. He seemed to have regained his former elegance. Even his tattered clothes could not hide his innate temperament.
He put one hand in his trouser pocket and held his wand loosely in the other, and walked around Snape without any fear.
After Sirius knew that Aphrodite was the one who helped him several times, he let go of his grudges. He thought that the little girl had some secret method of disguise.
After all, the magical world is full of wonders.
"Let me leave? Please give me a reason." Snape blocked the door and still did not let down his guard. In his opinion, Sirius was a liar who was full of lies.
Lupin shook his head at Snape. Harry secretly picked up the wand on the ground when they were not paying attention. Hermione also reminded Afro to take out her wand and be prepared to fight back.
Sirius and Lupin argued about whether Snape was stupid. Ron felt that even if they were rescued by Snape, they would be killed because they heard the secret.
Merlin, save the children!
Snape did not waste his talent for sharp tongue and jumped madly on Sirius's minefield.
"Expelliarmus!" Three different voices chanted the same spell in tacit understanding, and the spell was cast at the same figure.
Snape was struck by a sudden spell and fell onto the dusty bed, with the loose curtains covering him like a quilt.
"Okay, now you can tell me your reasons."
Lupin and Sirius looked at Avro and the other two with satisfaction, especially Harry who was standing at the front.
Lupin briefly explained Peter's situation. He couldn't believe that this man had deceived them for so long!
"If I hadn't seen his name on the map." Lupin turned around excitedly and scratched his messy hair. "Thank you for your reminder, Afro."
Harry didn't know about Aphrodite. He looked at the girl with confusion and shock.
Afro shrugged and gave the reason he had prepared long ago.
"The other night, I glanced at your map and happened to see a name that shouldn't exist—"
Harry also knew what happened next. After they handed the map to Lupin, Afro's nonsensical words just reminded Lupin.
"Where is he?"
Harry pointed his wand at Sirius, and Lupin stepped between them. Sirius became annoyed again, dissatisfied with Lupin's slow speech, and pointed directly at Ron.
"It's there!"
"You're crazy, I'm not!"
"It's your rat!"
Ron hugged the mouse tightly in his arms, suppressed his fear, and defended it: "My mouse is already at home--"
"Twelve years? Have you ever seen a mouse live for twelve years?" Sirius shouted at him helplessly.
Ron was stunned. He had never thought about this question. But it would be better for him to accept that mice can live for twelve years than to accept that mice are human beings!
In the moment he was stunned, Sirius grabbed the mouse and held it in his hand. The mouse kept struggling, and during its struggle, everyone also discovered that it seemed to be missing a toe.
An idea formed in Harry's mind that was no coincidence.
Just as they were about to cast the spell, a mouse took advantage of the chaos and tried to escape. When it drilled into a mouse hole, the spell hit it, and a middle-aged fat man was stuck at the entrance of the hole.
Lupin and Sirius struggled to pull him out of the narrow hole. With nowhere to escape, Peter began to plead with Harry and Ron.
But no one paid any attention to him.
"Do you want to tie him up? What if I run away?"
Lupin felt that what Aphrodite said was right, so he petrified Peter directly, and then, not feeling reassured, he tore off a few strips of cloth to tie him up.
Ron was no longer able to speak, and his stomach kept churning, as if he was going to vomit out everything he had eaten in the past few days.
He actually slept in the same bed with a man! How disgusting! If he was going to sleep together, it should be with Afro!
Lupin and Sirius each raised a wand and were about to execute the traitor on the spot, but Harry spoke up in time to stop them.
"Harry?"
"We're going to let the Dementors deal with him, and we're going to find Dumbledore to prove your innocence."
"Harry--" Sirius looked at Harry in surprise, with countless complicated emotions surging in his heart.
"Yes, Fudge is here today. If there is a grievance, he should be the one to clear it all."
Afro stood firmly with Harry, partly because of her mission, but more because she wanted to give Harry a home.
A home that truly belongs to him.
Finally, Lupin and Sirius accepted their suggestion, and they dragged Peter, who was tied up as hard as possible, out of the castle.
Ron, with a look of shock, as if he had survived a disaster, and a hint of disgust, climbed out of the tree hole with the help of Hermione.
"Sorry for biting you." Sirius apologized to Ron apologetically. He glanced guiltily at the girl next to Harry, and then whispered to her.
"I'm sorry, I wronged you."
"It's okay." Afro generously forgave him. After all, her identity at that time was indeed very intriguing.
"And, thank you."
Several people relaxed, and climbed out of the ground one by one, chatting and laughing. Under the moonlight, an old man with a long beard and wearing a silver robe was looking at them with a smile, his hands behind his back.
"Seeing that you have done a great thing, let me think how many points should I give to Gryffindor?"
Dumbledore smiled and joked, then looked at the disheveled Sirius.
"Welcome back, Blake."
Behind Dumbledore stood Fudge with a solemn expression. He was just taken out for a walk by Dumbledore, and he never expected to encounter such a scene.
Sure enough, they are all old foxes.
Harry handed the Golden Snitch necklace and Peter to Dumbledore. The necklace contained a video of the entire process. There was conclusive evidence and Peter could not escape.
The moon, like a jade plate, shone on everyone. Harry and Sirius enjoyed their future life in the night. From time to time, they cast their eyes to the girl who was treating Ron's wound.
"As good as your father's vision."
Harry smiled shyly, having just asked Sirius how to woo girls.
Lupin leaned against the tree trunk and looked at the scene in front of him with a smile on his face. His joy made him ignore his physical discomfort and the moonlight tonight.
