Chapter 191: | 191 | Final Battle Part 4

Propelling through the air, Abraham soon made his landing onto a nearby enemy battleship sailing in the rear line of their battle formation. It wasn't a comfortable and adept landing, however, as he crashed onto the mast of their warship, toppling it down to the decks.

The shouts and cries of the crew resounded as they had thought one of the shells had hit their mass. They scattered around trying to regain discipline, but with the mast plunging onto the bow of the battleship. Calm was far from what they would feel.

"Repair the ship and make sure that our hull remains combat-effective." An order echoed throughout the wooden deck of the battleship. It came from none other than the commanding officer, the captain of the warship.

When the crew heard his orders, their discipline returned as they quickly began checking for further damages from the attack. The giant cannons of the battleship kept firing, uncaring of the complicated situation of the above deck.

It was understandable, after all, they had to exchange fire against the fleet of steel before them.

"War Master, our main-mode of transport has been compromised. I will be giving you the difficulty of managing the navigation of our warship." The captain ordered the War Master beside him, who merely nodded in understanding and swiftly cast a force spell through the runes scattered throughout the battleship. experience-MVLeMpYr

The warship began moving despite having a broken mast. It maintained its position in the rear-line battle formation of the fleet of Terra, not giving the United Navy the ability to destroy what got left behind.

"As expected of the War Master, without your capabilities, our navy wouldn't be as effect as it could be." The captain remarked, noticing the battleship move without the assistance of their mast. The War Master humbly nodded, accepting the praise of the captain with calm.

"But, to think that the Steel Fleet of the United Navy would be so powerful. I now understand why those vassal colonies of the Colonial Dominion fell. Against such a fleet, they wouldn't have stand a chance." The captain looked at the metallic warships in the distance.

The weapons, armaments, armor, and precision of the United Navy were much more advance than theirs. Even though they outnumbered their adversaries from one to five, the heretical naval organization was still fighting well.

As if it was a near-pear opponent of the fleet of Terra.

"However, the fleet of Terra outnumbers the United Navy in far greater quantities. Even if the first-exchange brought about the destruction of over a dozen battleships, we still have dozens more to throw at them." The captain rationalized and continued. "This is a battle of attrition."

"A battle, we are bound to win." His confidence wasn't unfounded as the fleet of Terra was the largest ever fleet deployed by a Colonial Dominion. Combined with the expansionary fleet that hadn't return to Europa, their numbers bolstered even more.

Defeat seems to be quite a stretch in the distance, when looking upon the meager numbers of the United Navy.

"Shouldn't he be merely a bit more stronger than a normal man? How could he have such great power?" He muttered in confusion, to which the War Master couldn't answer. Even the War Master was dumbfounded as to how the fleet admiral had grown so much more stronger than reported details.

"It doesn't matter! The highest commander of the United Navy is in front of us. As long as we kill him, the heretical naval organization would collapse in on itself." The captain muttered, shaking out his anxiousness and focusing on what was at hand.

"All crew! Abandon your duties and kill him! He's the fleet admiral of the damnable organization. Victory will come with his head chopped off from his body!" He ordered his crew with a roar. When the crew of the battleship realized the identity of the man in front of him.

Bloodlust soon surged into their heart, beginning to consume it. Unlike beforehand, hesitance faded from their hearts as adrenaline scattered throughout their bodies. They cried out their battle cries and charged towards the fleet admiral with all they got.

Abraham raised his eyebrows as dozens of men armed with weapons sprinted at him with bloodlust. To think that the Colonial Dominion would hate him so much. His existence took out so much hatred from his enemies, making him feel somewhat complicated.

As they got nearer, they swung and shot whatever they had in-between their fingers. He dodged each and every attack with ease as no matter how much they tried to outnumber him. His senses were too sensitive for them to fool him with mere numbers.

Abraham didn't hesitate to counter attack, punching the chests of those near him and caving them in, snapping their necks when they tried to wrestle with him, while also kicking them off the damn boat. It was quite a bloody battle, for them of course.

F-35Bs flew in the background, releasing missiles from their compartments, striking the battleships who had their runic shields down. It was quite a sight as the crew of such battleships tried striking the jets with their own anti-air weapon. Sadly, however, their AAs were far from effective.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Explosions reverberated as flashes of light gleamed over them. Abraham kept fighting the large quantities of crewmembers, accelerating his k/s, or kill per second by the moment. His arms turned bloody from their blood and his clothes became stained. Washing the blood off would be quite a troublesome activity.

At any rate, it was fairly clear that outnumbering the fleet admiral of the United Navy wasn't enough to claim victory. No matter how much they tried to surround him. He would quickly find a weakness in their encirclement and exploit it. They were fighting a losing battle.

The captain gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, watching the entire battle unfold before his eyes. It was obvious that the trying to surround him wasn't an effective tactic. But, it was the only thing they could do. The monstrous bastard was too much for them to handle.

"Have you reported it to the fleet commander?" The captain glanced at the War Master, who nodded in agreement. "Alright, I guess we simply need to buy time." He took out his sword while the War Master casted various support spells onto him. He gazed at Abraham in the distance and uttered.

"This must become a battle of attrition."
