Chapter 166 You Have a Problem
Chapter 166 You Have a Problem
Three hours later, Mo returned but Kakashi was nowhere to be seen. Kakashi is not usually an unpunctual person.
Considering that she had returned here using the 'Flying Thunder God Technique', I decided to wait a little longer.
Half an hour later, Mo left and headed in the direction Kakashi had been investigating.
She was a little unaccustomed to working with someone on a mission for the first time, and even forgot to leave a mark on him, otherwise she wouldn't have had to go through so much trouble to find him.
"That sounds like Kakashi using the ninjutsu 'Chidori'," Mo stopped and listened carefully.
Confirming that the sound came from Kakashi's ninjutsu, she changed direction and her figure flickered in the woods. In no time, she arrived at Kakashi's location and just in time to see him use 'Chidori' to kill the last enemy before he passed out.
"Is he dead?" Mo looked down at Kakashi, who had fainted on the ground, and finally squatted down to check his breathing. He exhaled softly, "He's still alive."
"Clang..." Mo drew his long sword from his waist and stabbed at the person who had attacked him from behind, then sheathed it.
She stood up, finished off the corpses on the ground, and then returned to Kakashi's side, picking him up in her arms.
"What a hassle. It's definitely faster to carry out a mission alone. Companions are just there to hold you back."
After settling Kakashi in a suitable place, Mo stared intently at the mask on his face.
"Forget it, let's treat him first, lest he really die."
Her hand emitted a faint blue light, healing Kakashi's wounds, and she withdrew it after a while.
"Still not awake?" A hint of doubt flashed across her face as she took his hand and checked his pulse. "His chakra is completely drained. It's really lucky he's still alive."
Mo lifted his eyelids. Was it because of the Sharingan?
Without the bloodline of the Uchiha clan, it consumes a lot of chakra.
"Would it be better to use spiritual power to modify his body, so that he won't be a burden to her later?"
"But before that, let's take off his mask and see."
"Let's do it!" Mo ripped off Kakashi's mask, completely dispelling any of the unexpected events the real Kakashi had mentioned. It was no surprise at all.
A look of confusion flashed in her eyes. She took out paper and pen and began to draw. She would show this drawing to the real person later and they would understand that she was not lying. This matter had to be taken seriously.
After finishing the painting, Mo carefully put it away.
"It looks like he's about to wake up!" A rare look of guilt flashed across Mo's usually indifferent face, but she quickly calmed down and silently pulled his mask back up.
"Hey, did she put on the mole below her lip just now?"
Mo recalled the painting he had just made, and touched the mole on Kakashi's face with one finger.
Kakashi opened his eyes at that moment.
Their eyes met briefly, and Mo spoke with unusual calm, "Your face was injured, so I treated it for you."
As soon as she finished speaking, she calmly pulled Kakashi's mask back up and stood up.
Mo felt a push from behind, perhaps because she had been squatting for too long. She was about to fall on Kakashi when she quickly braced herself with her hand, but it seemed she had braced herself in the wrong place. A blush flashed across her face.
Hearing Kakashi groan, she instantly pulled her hand back, and leaned forward onto him, their lips touching.
Mo never imagined that an idol drama would happen to her, but now it has actually happened.
"I should have known better than to take off my mask."
Mo felt a little unsettled, but she didn't show any emotion. She stood up, wiped her mouth, and calmly said, "It was just an accident, you don't need to take it to heart."
"You rest well, I'll find you something to eat." She would never admit that she was just making excuses to leave and avoid facing the situation for the time being.
Kakashi was still a little dazed. If it weren't for the lingering pain in the spot where she had been supporting herself, he would have thought he was dreaming.
Half an hour later, Mo wandered around a short distance away, then came over with a few wild fruits in his hand. "Eat up!"
"Are they trying to poison him?" Kakashi warned, a bead of cold sweat forming on his forehead. "This is a poisonous fruit!"
Mo was clearly stunned for a moment, looking at the wild fruit in his hand. Could such a beautiful fruit really be poisonous?
She gestured with her lips, "Why don't we give it a try? I can save you even if you're poisoned."
Now it was Kakashi's turn to be speechless, and he suspected that she was retaliating for what had just happened. "Wasn't he the one who got hurt? He really can't reason with her."
In the end, Mo didn't let Kakashi eat the poisonous fruit. She was too lazy to continue searching for food and took out some food from the sealing scroll.
"Can you eat by yourself?" she asked, helping the person up.
"I might need to trouble you for a bit." Kakashi had barely managed to sit up when he almost fell back down. If it weren't for Mo's quick reflexes, he probably would have had a close encounter with the ground.
Mo couldn't help but retort, "Are your kidneys really that bad?"
"kidney?"
He only feels weak for a period of time every time he uses the Sharingan, what does that have to do with his kidneys?
Suddenly, something occurred to him, and a faint blush rose to his cheeks. "How could she know this?"
Kakashi's face flushed even more as he recalled taking the painting from her room earlier.
There was one thing he was absolutely certain of: his kidneys were fine, but it just didn't seem convincing at the moment.
"Eat properly!" Mo supported the man with one hand and fed him with the other. Seeing that he was not cooperating, he frowned and said coldly.
Kakashi composed himself, his mouth opening and closing in unison, while Mo had already pulled down his mask again.
To avoid such an embarrassing situation, Mo put her ANBU mask back on and made a decision in her heart to take it off after the mission was over. It really does feel like the wheel of fortune turns.
After Kakashi finished eating, he lay back down and fell asleep shortly afterward.
Mo flicked out a 'sleep spell' from his fingertip to prevent him from waking up during the body modification.
The so-called transformation is actually just using spiritual energy to circulate around his meridians, and it seems to be having some effect so far.
But why is this person's body so hot? "Is he sick?"
Mo noticed that Kakashi's face was flushed, so he stopped modifying his body and touched his forehead, which seemed to be burning hot.
She frowned, got up, and went to the spot where she had picked wild fruit to gather a few herbs.
Why did they have to assign her teammates? They're such a drag on the team. Mo thought to himself with a cold face as he took care of Kakashi. It wasn't until midnight that Kakashi's temperature finally came down.
Just as Mo breathed a sigh of relief, he heard Kakashi babbling incoherently, "Was that a nightmare?"
The moment her hand touched Kakashi's body, it was grabbed. "Don't go."
Kakashi recalled the scene before Rin and Obito died, and suddenly a familiar aura calmed him down, and he instinctively wanted to hold on tightly.
Mo glanced at the hand that was being held tightly, "Forget it, I won't argue with the patient."
In the middle of the night, Mo lay down next to Kakashi, and as soon as he lay down, he was pulled into her arms.
She couldn't be bothered to argue with Kakashi's unconscious behavior; taking care of someone was exhausting, and she soon fell asleep.
