While my sensei went into damage control mode to try and slow down the outflow of the information I moved on to the next volume in my collection, Earth. Wood, Mud, Lava and Explosion releases were all put in before I got started on a Kekkai genkai that was sure to make at least Sunagakure upset, Magnet release. Made by fusing wind and earth chakras together this Kekkai genkai allowed the user to control a certain magnetic material and was typically used with whatever that material was in sand form. -
Many would make the mistake of thinking that the sand used by Gaara was a result of this Kekkai genkai but they would be wrong. The sand he uses is not magnetic in nature but actual sand though he does possess this Kekkai genkai as well that he tends to use to make his sand stronger by infusing the magnetic and tough minerals into his sand. Nobody other than The one tailed beast, the second Kazekage and the jinchuriki of the one tailed had ever figured out how to control sand the way the one tail does. The second Kazekage used this knowledge to create the Kekkai genkai in fact.-
This made me think that the sand control was like a mix of earth and wind chakra as well but different from Magnet release. Magnet release was considered one of the most versatile and useful Kekkai genkais since it allowed one to more or less use the magnetic sand however one could imagine including to fly. That particular use was also one of the reasons it was considered so dangerous as due to the lack of many flight type techniques countermeasures for them are not exactly something many consider investing in making anyone who can fly nigh untouchable so long as they were careful.-
Whatever the case I was more interested in the Kekkai genkais ability to grow crystals as my chamber was filled with exactly that that drew in natural energy. If I could recreate and master the Kekkai genkai I could finally expand the chamber which I had been afraid to do until now as that would involve destroying or spreading the crystals out and ruining the environment here. With the Kekkai genkai though I could just cover the newly expanded chamber with the crystals making for an all around improvement. Honestly speaking the chamber was a bit cramped with the tree hogging most of it so expanding it would make me much more comfortable.-
Anyways I ended up needing a week to find the ninety wind ten earth ratio for the Kekkai genkai and I had to admit that it gave me a bit of a headache once I successfully created it. Almost immediately I gained a sort of connection to the crystals all throughout the chamber which caught me off guard as it wasn't like anything I was familiar with. It almost felt like I could reach out in every direction simultaneously and manipulate the crystals. I mean I could already do that with earth release but it felt different now, more intimate I guess?-
Once I got my bearings I immediately set to work expanding the chamber from it's small roughly thirty foot radius to over two hundred feet in all direction while I used Wood release to relocate the tree to the center. I of course then had the crystals expand to cover the new surface of the walls of the chamber to draw in and trap natural energy. I of course also made the tree grow to almost touch the ceiling on the chamber again and the sheer density of natural energy became mildly concerning at that point.-
In fact at the roots of the tree a small puddle of liquid formed as the density of natural energy reached such an extreme that it liquified. I took a mere drop of this liquid to test in medicinal practices since natural energy was exceptionally good at nourishing plants and thus making medicine. That single drop of liquid however turned a common herb into a monstrously potent treasure herb that was practically toxic to even touch due to how intense the effects were now.
