Chapter 756: Chapter 756 - All Eyes on Team Destroyer

Broken sat in the compact blacksmith workshop area, while the Crawling Carriage Beebot sped across the vast savannah. The golden grass stretched endlessly, swaying gently in the breeze, with only a few scattered trees dotting the landscape.

He had just left Koabia Kingdom, the port city where his journey on the West Continent had begun. His destination was Secobia Kingdom, a region located closer to the center of the continent.

The West Continent, shaped somewhat like an "L," offered two primary routes to reach Secobia. One path followed the left side of the continent, passing through several well- established kingdoms and cities. The other route, on the right side, was a wilderness route- sparsely populated and teeming with untamed monsters.

He had chosen the wilderness.

It wasn't the easiest or safest route, but it was the most discreet. Broken preferred to avoid cities and large settlements whenever possible, especially while traveling alone. The fewer people he encountered, the more focused he could remain on his journey.

Still, he wasn't naive. The wilderness promised more than just solitude-it was crawling with monsters, some of which could pose a significant threat. But for Broken, it was a calculated risk, one he was willing to take.

As Broken settled into his seat, he opened his system interface to pull up a live stream of the Raid Race, the first match of the Eternal Challenge. His eyes locked onto the screen, watching intently as his team-Team Destroyer-stood on the grand stage, surrounded by the roaring cheers of the crowd.

Even while his hands worked on his current task in the mini workshop, his focus occasionally drifted back to the stream. It was strange, seeing them up there without him.

For the past several weeks, Broken had poured every ounce of his attention into his mission- to find Ivana. It felt as if everything else had faded into the background. Sixteen-hour play sessions had become his norm, and the line between his drive and obsession had blurred.

He knew he had no choice but to stay on this path. Ivana's fate was uncertain. Was she safe, or was she being hunted? Was she in need of his help?

Whatever the answer, one thing was clear: Broken had to find her before the High Elf Queen did.

As his team's avatars appeared on the stream and the countdown to the match began, Broken exhaled deeply. He trusted them to handle things in his absence, but the pull to be there, to fight alongside them, lingered.

The crowd erupted into cheers and shouts as the tension on the screen skyrocketed.

On the live feed, it was clear-two or three players from each team, excluding Team Destroyer, had split off from their groups and were now charging directly toward Destroyer's position.

The melee attackers surged forward, closing the gap with brutal speed, while the long-range attackers aimed their shots from afar. The attacks came fast and without hesitation, an ambush in full force.

"Oh my! Team Destroyer is being swarmed by 12 players at once!" Brando shouted, his voice booming through the stadium. "And look-Hollow and ScarletDusk from ShadowFang are among the attackers! They've joined the fight!"

The screen showed utter chaos as Team Destroyer was suddenly surrounded, arrows, magic, and melee strikes flying in from every direction.

"This is exactly what I expected," Paul said with a smirk. "The other teams see the Destroyer as the greatest threat. By taking them out now, they eliminate their strongest competition and increase their own chances of advancing."

"But can the Destroyer hold their ground with just five players?" Brando questioned.

"It'll come down to how well they can counter this coordinated assault," Paul responded. "Destroyer is skilled, no doubt, but being outnumbered more than two to one, with even Divine Champions like Hollow and Scarlet Dusk in the mix? It's going to be an uphill battle." The audience was on the edge of their seats, watching Team Destroyer's desperate struggle against overwhelming odds. Would they withstand the onslaught, or would this calculated ambush spell their early elimination?

The stadium buzzed with anticipation as the battle unfolded.

The battle intensified, and Brando's voice rose into near hysteria as chaos erupted on the screen. The barrage of long-range attacks raining down on Team Destroyer finally broke through their defenses.

Paul leaned back, a slight smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Yes," he said evenly. "This is the end for them. They'll struggle to push back against this coordinated attack. And let's not forget—they're facing opponents like Hollow, who hasn't even activated his Divine Champion Ability yet. The odds are completely stacked against them."

Brando turned to the camera, his excitement practically leaping out of the screen.

"I'm certain the real showdown is about to begin! Will Team Destroyer hold their ground and turn the tide, or will they be the first team to fall in this tournament?"
