Chapter 283: - Shadowbark Titan

Just like blacksmiths using the auto-crafting feature to instantly craft items by providing the necessary materials, the concept of golem summoning operated in a similar manner. The key difference was that Broken was using a summoning ticket he had obtained, rather than possessing the class or skill necessary to do it himself.

[The progress bar is 100%. Sufficient materials have been fed. Would you like to summon the golem now?]

He chose yes.

[Analyzing the materials.]

[Analyzing the ideal combination.]

[Analyzing the new golem form.]

[Analyzing the ideal skills.]

[The golem is ready to take form.]

The golem hologram floating in front of him began to expand and then fell to the ground. He took several steps back to watch the transformation unfold.

It was a golem of considerable size.

[Shadowbark Titan Level 225 has been summoned.]

[Quality Enhancement (Passive Skill) has been triggered, upgrading the Grade by two levels higher.]

Before him stood not just a golem, but a monstrous golem! The titan loomed twice the height of him, with a humanoid form but a gorilla's head. Its body was composed of a sleek black platinum that appeared to undulate in shadowy patterns, intertwined with moss, vines, and darkly hued plants. In its massive right hand, the titan wielded an enormous great sword. What a magnificent form!

He stared in awe, taking in the sight of the newly formed golem, the Shadowbark Titan. Freya's eyes widened, clearly impressed by the imposing creature that now stood before them.

She finally exhaled a sigh of relief as she looked at the colossal golem standing under the moonlight. "At least, the golem looks impressive, Broken."

Broken also smiled, admiring the new golem now standing before him.

"Now, let's see its status," he said, walking closer. As he did, an interface appeared before him—a console with various menus to control the golem. But first, he checked the golem's status.

[Name: ??? - Shadowbark Titan]

[Grade: Legendary]

[Tier: 5]

[Level: 225]

[Strength: 981 | Agility: 324 | Intelligence: 273 | Constitution: 746 | Stamina: 459]

He stood there, stunned, staring at the information in front of him. The Tier and the Grade- was he seeing it correctly?

trigger its actions.

"The control options on your golem are more complex, probably because it's a Legendary Grade!"

"Yes," he nodded slowly. "Do NPCs have consoles this advanced for controlling golems?"

"No, I think this kind of detailed control is only available to players," Freya explained. "Golem creators usually design templates for their golems, so they don't have to set each one manually. Or they simply issue commands using their voice, and the golem adjusts

automatically."

Broken nodded, satisfied with the settings he had made.

"Now, you need to name it," Freya said.

Broken smiled, taking one last look at the golem standing motionless before him.

"I'm a bit worried about your naming choices, Broken. It's a shame your summons rely on

your taste for names," Freya teased.

"Don't worry, I'm good at naming," he responded confidently. "How about 'Blackthorn'?

What do you think?"

Freya gave a hesitant smile. "Uhm... not bad."

Nodding, Broken updated the name information in the console.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot," Freya added. "You need to power the golem using a golem core.

Do you have one, right?"

"Yes," Broken confirmed with a nod.

He took the golem core from his inventory and carefully inserted it into the console.

[The golem core has been installed. The Blackthorn - Shadowbark Titan is now ready for use.]

Broken smiled as the golem before him started to move, shifting the massive greatsword from its side and embedding it into the ground. Then, as if almost in reverence, it returned to its original position, standing still and upright before him. Taking a deep breath, Broken couldn't help but marvel at the incredible creation. "Wouldn't it be fascinating if I could have an entire army of golems like this?" he mused

aloud.

"Yes, it would be," Freya responded. "But the cost for that would be astronomical, not to mention the maintenance. You'd need several golem cores to sustain them over time, and there's no guarantee you'd end up with golems as impressive as this one."

He nodded. "True. This single golem already drained almost everything from my inventory." He glanced back at the console. "But that's nothing to worry about. Now, let's see what skills

this golem has."
