Chapter 161: - Royal Welcome, Grand Prize
The lively city of Dissidia buzzed with excitement as everyone waited for the grand event that had everyone talking. Players from all over the country and even from nearby areas had
flocked to the Capital City, eager to join the celebrations and test their skills for the much- rumored grand prize that no one had won yet. The competition promised not just fame, but a legendary reward that spurred them on.
In one corner of the event grounds, a row of chairs was occupied by members of the Blacksmith Association. Their eyes were fixed on a gathering of individuals from The Ass Guild at the far end of the area. Among this group, one figure stood out a stranger whose presence among the guild members had sparked much conversation within the blacksmith community.
Lanceshot was a blacksmith of incredible skill, ranked at advanced level 9. He was one of the most respected craftsmen in the world of Immortal Legacy. His reputation was unmatched, and many players admired him greatly. Simply put, Lanceshot was one of the best blacksmith players known in Immortal Legacy.
"So, is this the guy everyone's talking about? Who is he? He doesn't look familiar to me," Lanceshot inquired, his curious eyes locked on the outsider sitting with The Ass Guild.
"Is he The Ass Guild's new puppet?" he continued.
"I heard," responded Strikeshot, a younger blacksmith who held the second highest rank in their trade, "he's been making a name for himself recently in Clario Town by crafting a lot of Epic-grade arrows."
"Epic-grade arrows aren't that impressive," Lanceshot countered.
"Yeah, The Ass Guild seems desperate," Strikeshot added. "They're under a lot of pressure and had to resort to hiring an amateur blacksmith like him."
"So his gamer name is Broken? Hah!" Lanceshot laughed. "What does that even mean? What's broken about him? His heart? His life? His brain? I'll make sure everything will be shattered once he realizes that I'm competing too!"
At that very moment, the attention of every individual in the Colosseum was drawn to the other side of the grand stage. Princess Alora had made her entrance, moving down the aisle with an undeniable air of majesty. Clad in an exquisite gown that accentuated her long, flowing red hair, she was accompanied by royal attendants who bowed deeply as she approached her seat.
The spectators in the stands rose collectively, awestruck by her beauty. Her meticulously crafted dress glittered like a constellation of stars, drawing all eyes to her as she walked gracefully. The intricate gold embroidery on her sleeves highlighted her natural elegance and dignity, setting a standard no one else in attendance could hope to match.
Upon reaching the stage, Princess Alora offered a small, gracious smile before settling onto her seat. The admiration of the crowd around her was palpable, their gazes locked onto her with pure adulation. The arena erupted in cheers and applause as they welcomed Princess Alora with enthusiasm.
In the crowd, a mix of players and local residents of Dissidia eagerly shared their reactions.
"What a lovely sight! Welcome, Princess Alora!"
"She looks so beautiful! Hail the Princess!"
"What an honor to be in the presence of such a remarkable Princess!"
"Oh, she truly is stunning, I feel like I might faint just seeing her from this distance."
The entire arena buzzed with excited murmurs and speculations about the grand prize Princess Alora had just mentioned.
"What's the grand prize?" someone in the crowd asked.
"Seriously, you don't know? You must be kidding!"
"The exact details of the grand prize have never been revealed, idiot!" someone chimed in.
"But everyone is sure that it's something extraordinary."
"Damn, I'm curious to see who's going to be lucky enough to win it."
"Is it really worth all the hype?"
"It's massive; this reward is what all Immortal Legacy players dream of."
"But the requirements are next to impossible."
"Yes, crafting a Legendary-grade Item is just that-legendary. It's seemingly impossible."
"However, let's not forget that many Advanced Rank Production Class players are here today.
I think it's still within the realm of possibility."
As the discussions continued, all eyes eventually refocused on Princess Alora, who had
paused, allowing the crowd to quiet down once again.
"The late King Elandorr of the Dissidia Kingdom once said that in our darkest times, someone
will emerge who is destined to inherit his treasure," she began again.
"He prophesied that a miracle would be revealed when that special person arrives at their destined moment," she continued.
Hearing the name King Elandorr, memories flooded over Broken. He instantly remembered something crucial. He had encountered King Elandorr in the Trial Domain, even if it was just a
fragment of the king's soul.
Knowing this fact made him smile slightly and sigh. If they only knew that the late King Elandorr once asked Broken to kill his descendants, would they still revere him so much?
