Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 2633: Dual Spaces

Chapter 2633: Dual Spaces

The Blood Emperor came to the Nine Provinces Palace? This is not good news.

Jessica once said that the Blood Emperor is someone who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

He doesn’t care about emotions because his blood is cold.

He doesn’t believe in reasoning because the strong don’t need to waste words.

Whoever survives till the end is the true strong one.

"That damn bastard Blood Emperor, how did he get here before us? Truly strange, strange indeed!" Mr. Leocadia did not hold back his praise for the Blood Emperor.

"He’s like a fly, maybe he smells something foul!"

The surroundings continued to change rapidly.

After a brief disappearance, the Blood Emperor appeared several times in the central square.

No one knew what he wanted to do.

Yet each time, the Blood Emperor seemed to look up at the statue.

On his last visit, he circled the statue a few times before leaving.

Throughout the process, Quella Radcliffe was nowhere in sight.

hours rushed by, seemingly passing in less than half an hour.

Julius Reed could not accept this outcome.

The Wolf Cavalry saw Quella Radcliffe jump into the lake; there should be no problem.

But now, Quella Radcliffe has disappeared.

They had found no trace of Quella Radcliffe.

Or perhaps, Quella Radcliffe never entered the ruins?

Yet the entire lake is safe below; if she didn’t come to the ruins, how could Quella Radcliffe endure in the water for so long?

When they arrived, the lake surface was completely calm.

Julius Reed couldn’t help but begin to worry.

"Don’t rush. Maybe she didn’t come here. The Nine Provinces Palace is large, not everyone will come here. If she has a purpose, she must have headed straight for it." Jessica conversed with Julius Reed.

Their Telekinesis was strong enough to communicate purely through it instead of other means.

"But why didn’t we notice the Blood Emperor coming here?" Julius Reed questioned.

The situation is full of danger.

He even suspected if the Blood Emperor had done something to Quella Radcliffe.

Otherwise, why is there no trace of Quella Radcliffe?

"The Blood Emperor is very cunning. Besides, because of our relationship, he’s been to the Nine Provinces Palace a few times, but always sneaky. The people of the Nine Provinces Palace do not dare ask, do not dare stop him." Jessica spoke helplessly.

The Blood Emperor is one of the three emperors with very strong combat abilities.

In the Nine Provinces Palace, only the King of the Nine Provinces can stand against the Blood Emperor.

Such a lawless expert cannot be stopped by others in the Nine Provinces Palace.

"Something’s wrong!" Mr. Leocadia pondered for a long time before speaking up: "Didn’t you notice, the Blood Emperor’s behavior is strange? His repeated appearances, what does that signify?"

"What’s strange about it?" Jessica questioned, "Perhaps it’s just a coincidence?"

"Impossible!" Mr. Leocadia recalled and mimicked the positions where the Blood Emperor appeared.

"This is no coincidence; such actions are entirely intentional!" He opened his eyes, speaking with determination.

"What’s the point of doing this?" Jessica raised her head, looking at the structure in the center of the hall.

"Something’s not right! Just now I saw, through the residual image, the King of the Nine Provinces point his finger. It wasn’t like this." She finally realized the problem.

"Then, are you unaware of your brother’s secret? You’ve been living at the Nine Provinces Palace all the time." Julius Reed began to doubt Jessica.

It’s about Quella Radcliffe’s safety.

Aside from Mr. Leocadia, Julius Reed trusted no one.

"Jessica is Jessica; what she knows isn’t much. The King of the Nine Provinces, being a king, surely has his own secrets." Mr. Leocadia explained for Jessica: "Trust me, and trust Jessica."

"Okay." Julius Reed nodded.

His attention was on the statue of the King of the Nine Provinces.

"I remember, the Blood Emperor seemed to spin around. Was he using some kind of Spiritual Power?" Julius Reed recalled, imitating the Blood Emperor’s actions, and finally using Spiritual Power, pointing upward.

Strangely, the Spiritual Power emitted from his fingertip soared into the air, merging with the King of the Nine Provinces’ finger.

Clang!

The statue of the King of the Nine Provinces moved.

The finger pointed directly south.

"What does this mean? Should we head directly south?" Mr. Leocadia saw this scene and was very surprised.

Though he is a real gentleman, he knows little about the palace matters.

Now he could only trust Jessica.

"Honestly, I don’t know." Jessica was very helpless, "Perhaps, let’s try?"

"Then let’s try." Julius Reed, holding his sword, headed in the direction of the finger.

As they walked, the surrounding environment suddenly changed.

At some point, they entered a completely different environment.

Here, the water disappeared.

Everything around was new and shining.

It’s not like ruins, nor does it look submerged.

"This is..." Jessica saw the familiar scene before her, and she too stood still. "I remember my brother brought me here once years ago, saying this was the real Nine Provinces Palace. But at the time, I didn’t care, I just thought it was an ordinary room."

"Now it seems, there are two layers of space. The outside has been soaked by seawater, causing damage. The inside is intact." Jessica kept glancing around, even reaching out to touch the table.

The table was spotless, new and gleaming.

"Can we see what the Blood Emperor did here?" Julius Reed not only needed to find Quella Radcliffe, since they entered such a strange space, he had to uncover the Blood Emperor’s intrigue.

"Sure." Jessica took out a pocket watch.

"No need!"

At this moment, a voice sounded.

It was the Blood Emperor.

He slowly walked out, standing at a doorway.

Now, he was just a puddle of ordinary blood.

He needed constant replenishment to ensure combat effectiveness.

"What are you doing here!" Mr. Leocadia instinctively protected Jessica, nervously inquiring.

"I considered many possibilities but didn’t expect you all to come here. Honestly, I underestimated you." The Blood Emperor snorted lightly, a smile on his face.

"Unexpectedly, there really are people as smart as you." Another voice came from beside the Blood Emperor.

Then, a man in an embroidered robe slowly walked out, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Blood Emperor.

"Indeed, but now that they’ve come, if we don’t get rid of them, our plan will fail."

The Blood Emperor transformed back into a puddle of blood.

And the man grinned and said: "I don’t do this kind of work."

"What do you mean?" The Blood Emperor’s tone carried irritation.

"It’s going to cost extra." The man rubbed his fingers very reluctantly.

Seeing this action, Mr. Leocadia suddenly remembered something and shouted: "None King?"
