Assuming Lumine was just playing dumb, Miko came right out and stated the answer too.After all, everyone present now was family, and all of them women besides, so there was no need to be so reserved.
If Kaito had been here, she would never have been this blunt—in fact, she most likely wouldn't have brought this topic up again at all.

Seeing Miko be so direct, Lumine once again gave an answer pretty much the same as the one before.
No matter what, she had simply guessed it at random; it wasn't that she'd long known of that thing's existence.

At this point Mobius, off to the side, suddenly chimed in with that.
Although she knew Miko surely wouldn't agree, seeing how interested she looked, Mobius wanted to hand her a reason to give that thing a try.
After all, there's quite a difference between bringing something up of your own accord and only saying it yourself after someone else has said it first.
"Sure! Let Lumine and Wendy give it a try." In response to Mobius's suggestion, Miko went right ahead and volunteered Lumine and Wendy, even though Mobius hadn't said anything about Wendy.
Of course, Mobius hadn't pointed to anyone in particular, so there was nothing wrong with Miko putting it that way either.
"No way am I trying it—if anyone's going to try it, it's you lot." Wendy refused on the spot.
Although Kaito's side had earlier saddled her side with a setting of sleeping while wearing that thing, her side certainly wasn't going to actually do anything of the sort.
And forget about doing that—even just putting that thing on right now was out of the question.
"I'm not trying it either." After Wendy, Lumine shook her head like a rattle-drum.
Her meaning was perfectly clear: she wasn't trying it either.
After all, just wearing that thing on its own was mortifying enough; now to wear it together with another person—that was downright unbearable.
"Don't be shy, you two—let me see how it looks once it's on." After both Wendy and Lumine had voiced their refusals, Miko, looking rather put out, still wanted to keep coaxing the two of them to put that thing on for her to see.
But she also knew it was impossible; these two little girls definitely wouldn't put that thing on just for her sake.
