Noticing her eager smirk as he let a drop of Somarasa into the cup filled with sake otherwise, Kai couldn't help but wonder if he had the same love for the grind as she did for booze.
'Nah...' The competitive spirit he was, Kai soon rationalized, 'My affair with the grind still remains the hottest.'
But that didn't stop Tsunade and Kai from gulping down the contents as content sighs soon escaped their lips and they leaned back over to the head of the bed with the tray of alcohol having set on Tsunade's mattress itself.
"Heh," Tsunade suddenly smirked and as Kai expected, he didn't need to ask about the results of her training... with her clones if his senses didn't lie to him, she began the short tale of her progress after years she'd spent on other things, "You wouldn't believe how easy it would be for me to win the bet, brat. You sorely underestimated me this time around!"
Kai long knew about Shadow Clones and its benefits for those with outrageous chakra reserves much less whole different storage for it like Tsunade. So, he hummed in a non-committing manner and shrugged, "We'll see. If Sage Mode is that easy to master, Orochimaru wouldn't have been plagued for years, and my mind wouldn't have tried to lead a rebellion against my control for the first few times I transformed."
Tsunade blinked and realized that there was some merit to his words and grew a bit worried. While she was far from balancing Nature Energy with her chakra, she was already beginning to notice some positive effects. For instance, Tsunade was quick to realize through her years of experience that mastering Sage Mode needed a few prerequisite conditions from the user itself when it came to the parameters of the mind and the body. While slowly dabbling with nature energy was working well with her astonishing Chakra capacity, Tsunade now wondered if the results would diminish over the duration and if would she need to work even harder.
But when she felt the same warmth spread over to every corner of her body, Tsunade's eyes widened incredulously and she growled, "You're tricking me again!"
Kai was absolutely surprised by the outburst and he looked at her with a stunned stare while he let the somarasa drip onto his cup continuously.
Noticing that his cup was filled with the extremely rich concoction, Kai quickly stopped and looked at Tsunade with confusion evident on his face, "Sensei? Did you get drunk already?"
"You want me to win!" Tsunade snapped, "This Somarasa... I just felt it easing the digestion of nature chakra in my body... Who the hell do you think you're pitying at?"
Kai's lips parted and he refuted bluntly, "YOU wanted to drink! What the hell are you pointing fingers at for? If anything, I didn't even think about somarasa helping you until now, and believe me, the effects aren't so great that you'll master sage mode by just getting drunk!"
Tsunade frowned and she looked at the boy suspiciously, "So... you really want me to lose and work for you?" She admitted that while she hated being bossed around, she hated being the decision-maker even more despite her talent for it. Not to mention... she simply had a gut feeling that Kai would be the kind of boss who would just leave everything to anyone under him and chill... which simply meant no change in her position and life indirectly.
"Win or lose," Kai shrugged as he passed her the cup with diluted somarasa, "I'd have you on my desk eventually, Sensei. The bet's just here to make things quicker."
"ON your desk?" Tsunade raised her brows and repeated his words once again.
"Your large... wisdom would be absolutely appreciated," Kai nodded with his gaze briefly descending as she deadpanned.
"Wisdom, huh?" Narrowing her gaze after downing her cup once again, she let her gaze linger on Kai's cup that was filled with somarasa and she voiced out her doubt, "Can you really soldier through that kind of kick?"
"Only one way to find out," Kai shrugged, not even thinking of having an indirect experience from a clone but instead more than willing to try it out himself.
Before he could do so, Tsunade held his wrist and stared at him seriously, "You shouldn't go too hard... lemme try!"
Scoffing, Kai pulled his hands away but the Slug turned out to be clingier as her smile widened while she felt pure relief coursing through her body, letting her blood flow quicker, and overall relaxing her knots, "I just thought of something... hmm, consider it a new technique I have decided to bestow on you for... winning my ass and even making me, of all people, train once again."
Kai looked at her curiously, "A new technique?"
Tsunade knew of his weakness well. Dreams and Grind.
No doubt, they were beautiful... but a bit too young. He could become a screw-up and think that it won't matter physically but even if he WANTED to be with them, he was wholly uninterested in them that way at the moment. That's why he could even bathe with them without acting like a truly perverted fool. Even his biological reactions in the morning were just that Biological. He admitted that he got massive boners for Mikoto and Tsunade, even for Nono in the Genjutsu world but the only reason he didn't push away Kushina and others because of his own past and origins was that it would be wholly unfair to them and besides... he did want a harem. Nobody said it was going to be easy and maneuvering around his own moral compass, as little as it was, came easy for Kai.
Revealing a look of understanding, Kai nodded, "I suppose... you should feel weird." Before the drunk Senju took this the wrong way and decided to cave her fist into his skull promptly, he added, "But... how do I put this..." Kai frowned, "Would it help if you used the Body Transformation technique to look younger?"
Since Tsunade's body transformation shifted the actual physical body itself, she looked thoughtful while still over him as he continued, "I like you this way more, no doubt. But Mikoto and I have had a few moments and it's just the best when we both can enjoy it. And... if we really click it, you know, seriously," he emphasized that last part, "We'll have all the time in the world to grow."
As if this wasn't convincing, Kai added, "And through Danzo, we already proved that we can recover youth... not to mention... I really want to be the first to take out the TEEN you..." His smile broadened, "I've heard from others in the compound that you were even more ill-tempered than Kushina and ate way more than her. I'd love to give you a few filling treats~!"
'And, he's back,' Tsunade rolled her eyes but found herself barely fazed at the moment... since he did raise some good points.
But...
"Isn't it kind of cheesy?" Tsunade sat up and moved away before practically slumping her shoulders, "Even I'd be embarrassed with what others would say..."
Kai sat up, too, and rubbed the back of his head but his expression froze as he heard Tsunade mumble.
"And I even wore those panties you and Nono had been looking for... with a matching bra... You know, the size would never fit the teen version of me."
'Oh... yeah, I did forget I asked her to wear that...'
"Kai... what the hell are you thinking?" Tsunade narrowed her eyes as she found his stare practically glued to her crotch.
"Huh? Oh, forget what others say and what I said a few moments ago. I just want to see those panties!"
